I picked Théo Hernandez as my temporary swap for the Ksport event because he’s just the perfect fit. Thèo’s energy, speed, and fearless attitude on the field really match the vibe I was aiming for. He’s the kind of player who doesn’t just show up — he takes over the game. That same spirit is what I wanted to bring into the event. Plus, there’s something about the way he carries himself, so natural and confident, that makes him stand out without even trying. It felt right to draw inspiration from someone who plays with heart and intensity every single time. For me, Thèo wasn’t just a choice — he was the only choice.

ㅤㅤㅤㅤWhy is it gotta be Ryan Blaney?

I grew up in a place where Herbie, Days of Thunder, The Last American Hero, and Talladega Nights were aired quite on a loop. While most kids were caught up in Saturday morning cartoons or classic telenovelas, I was busy listening to the roar of engines and the drama in the racetrack. Let’s not forget the animated classic Cars that gave us Lightning McQueen who burnt brighter than paparazzi flashes on a race day. That’s when I fell in love with racing, especially #NASCAR, and I began to collect die-cast cars such as Hot Wheels, Matchbox, Tomica, et cetera, a little too religiously. And even now, when Formula1 might be dominating the global spotlight with its high tech glamor and jetset circuits, for me, there’s something about this motorcar that still grips my loyalty. The smoke, the pit crews scrambling like choreographed chaos, the thunder of stock cars circling a track.

But let’s get to the question about why Ryan Blaney and why not someone like Joey Logano who is arguably more consistent and is a part of the same powerhouse that is #TeamPenske? The thing is, I see myself in Blaney more than any other driver. He’s got this persona where humility, humour, and he is genuinely appreciative of his team #TeamTwelve. He’s the kind of guy who doesn’t just race for wins, but for growth. Win or lose, he keeps on carrying himself with determination and positivity, always learning, always improving. And that mindset is supposed to be on a champion DNA. No other racer does it like him. That’s why it’s gotta be him.

DAY TWO #KSport — Rogers on Gronkowski 🏈🦾

Why him? Such a big question, isn't it? Well, I hold great admiration for athletes who can rule the field and give me a big reason to cheer, and Rob Gronkowski is easily that one for me.

He is the most dominant Tight End at every aspect in history, even if you are a fan of other teams, I know it won't be so painful to admit it. People can hate him for always destroying their team's defense, but they definitely have to respect him being so great at that. Gronk was tough to get down. He had Ryan Kerrigan, a big, strong linebacker, grabbing his body, only to be dragged along and shed to the ground. He carried several full grown men on his back and still he refused to go down. There was no stopping Gronk at his best. He can drop bodies with his powerful stiff-arm that makes you wonder there is gotta be steel underneath his arm. He suffered a litany of injuries throughout his career and yet, he still put up great numbers. I mean, 18 touchdowns in one season? That's insane.

The thing about Gronk is that he is capable of revolutionizing the TE positition into something difficult to reach. You either had TE who could block or catch really well and sometimes you would get ones who could do both good. But Gronkowski, he did both great. When he retired, I tabbed him as the GOAT of TEs. Watching him run down the field shedding tackles as he just stomped on men who weigh 300 lbs trying their best not to let him run gave you reason to love this big guy. Back then, him and Tom Brady was the greatest QB-TE duo of the game. I like their dynamic team work, how Gronk could read and catch those passes in a way no one could, also how Tom instinct to immediately look for Gronk with his total trust in him.

"Unbelievable. How the f---ck did you catch that?"

Yeah, Gronk is one player that if you watch his play, you just wouldn't believe what you see. Even Tom himself, one of the greatest (if not the best) Quarterback in NFL history couldn't believe that. A beast with beautiful catches, that's how I call him.

#Ksport Many men might find Declan Rice appealing as a role model due to a potent combination of attributes. This is coupled with an impressive maturity and tactical acumen on the field, suggesting a wisdom beyond his years and making him a compelling leader. Finally, the smooth, almost effortless elegance of his playing style adds a further dimension. His ability to read the game, and his precise execution of tackles and passes that truly impress. He’s a strategic one, anticipating plays and disrupting opponents with calculated precision. His passing range is exceptional, demonstrating both power and accuracy, showcasing a level of control and composure that many admire. This technical mastery, combined with his leadership qualities and focus, makes him a compelling figure for aspiring footballers and anyone who values skill, discipline, and strategic thinking. Refined athleticism creates a compelling image that resonates with many. It’s crucial to remember, however, that a true role model is defined by more than just physical attributes or athletic prowess, their character and actions are paramount.
