Kota yang terletak sekitar 70 kilometer di utara Satana, menjadi tempat penemuan mengerikan pada tanggal 10 Mei 1965. Enam orang ditemukan secara brutal, tubuh mereka disembunyikan di dalam gudang dan tempat tinggal rumah pertanian mereka yang terisolasi.

Keenam korban adalah Gerald Hilgers (63th), istrinya Yvonne Hilgers (58th), putri janda mereka Viviana Antonelli (35th), anak -anak Viviana, Dierre (7th) dan Marveon (2th), dan pelayan, Jacqualine Reijnders (42th). Mereka semua ditemukan mati mengenaskan, yang kemudian ditemukan di loteng gudang.

"Tapi disetiap lokasi ditemukannya mayat, ada 31 jejak yang menuju ke ruang keluarga mereka. Dan jejak itu berhenti disana, tak ada jejak lain — seolah pembunuh itu melakukan teleportasi dan menghilang." Detective Omar berkata tak yakin.

"Oho, tapi pembantu baru itu — si Reijnders yang telah tiba beberapa jam sebelumnya, adalah yang terakhir dibunuh. Bagaimana menurutmu?" Detective Zackland tampak menikmati permainan kata dan logika bersama dua juniornya. Menyenangkan.

"Tidak mungkin, wanita itu dibunuh karena menghampiri suara aneh yang ada di gudang." Jawab Detective Majorca

"Ya tentu saja... barangkali begitu." Detective Zackland kemudian pamit, berkata akan makan siang dan meninggalkan dua juniornya yang berpikir dalam diam.
"Naif, mereka pikir isolasi dan jejak kaki mungil itu milik orang luar." Bisiknya pada diri sendiri dengan senyuman aneh.

Sementara Detective Omar tampak terkejut,
"tidak mungkin ini sama dengan apa yang aku pikirkan."

🌟—The rain keeps falling in the southern borough of Astelra, yet the whispers haven’t ceased. Another case, breathless, bloodless, yet screaming between floorboards and static.

The veins of this city are bruised with silence. Five agents have been dispatched. None returned complete.

Majorca read the report under flickering light. "The floor was warm when they arrived. The child’s music box still ticking. But the walls? Breathing."

Zackland added, “There were twenty-six handprints on the mirror. But no children left in that family.”

Omar trembled. "They said the voice was in Latin, but it kept calling my name."

“This isn’t a crime scene,” whispered someone in the bureau. “It’s a memory that won’t die.”
