What are all these duties and responsibilities? Isn't doing these whole-heartedly, O Lord, your service and your worship only? Why then others see these as a barrier to their spiritual growth? Are not you alone, My Lord, appearing as everything in this world?

Knowing thus, I work and act - offering every work and act to you. By serving others, I serve you only. With this attitude, every work and action of mine, has become a spiritual practice in itself. I need not run away from anything to feel you, O all-pervading one! ✨

Earlier I used to visit your temple to seek your grace and blessings; just to realise it later that every single place is your temple, as there is nowhere where you don't reside. 🪔

Those blessed ones with great faith in you, O Lord, never feel concern for the needs of their life, because they are so sure that you will never abandon them. They're steadfast on the notion that, "He who has planted this tree [of life], will also water it".

Even when they are not provided with their needs, they do not feel that they are afflicted; they simply endure and accept it patiently, feeling that it is only you who has to suffer by seeing them troubled. Hence on all occasions they remain happy. ✨

A child may run around, visit different places in order to play and seek fun throughout the day; but later in the evening he must return home, and embrace his mother.

Your children too, O Lord, are going around, playing in the world, seeking fulfillment. And they too eventually will return to their true "home", to you - as true fulfillment lies only at your feet.

You, out of your compassion, O Lord, make your devotees forget you at times, but only to strengthen their love towards you. Because without your thought, they soon realise that everything in this world is indeed hollow and meaningless. So forgetting you only makes your devotees realise your true value and significance, which further makes it possible for them to cling to your Holy feet, even stronger than before.

O friends, when whatever you desire is obtained, do not think that it is due to your own power or capability; but due to God’s Grace only. Knowing thus, love Him and cling to His Holy Feet more and more.

Mysterious indeed is this relation with you, O Lord. Is it even a relationship at all? For a relation, there must be two, but here, the sense of duality is withering away. More I try to come close to you, more I start to lose myself. One may start your devotion, thinking there are two, but eventually, the one seeking you will surely get dissolved and then, there will remain just one, that is you and you alone.

Barely anyone loves you or has real faith in you, O Lord. Almost all the theists and so called religious devouts are barely serious about you. If they actually thought and strongly felt that you - the source of infinite bliss, love and knowledge - are really there, why wouldn't they consciously spend all their time and efforts in seeking you? Their minds wouldn't have been interested to seek any material pleasure or gain, even for a moment, if they truly had a strong faith and love for you. It maybe bitter pill to swallow for many, but it is a truth, nevertheless.

Abundant is my Lord's love and compassion. You just take one step towards Him, and He will take ten steps towards you. But sigh! Many are so badly bogged down in their play of the world, that to just take that one step, they take lifetimes and lifetimes.

Do not allow yourself to be overcome by despair. It is true that hardships would come, but have complete trust in Him, in spite of everything. Only when the going gets tough, will the egotistic mind turn humble and seek to connect to Him. Harships in life, are therefore a blessing in disguise.

Most are hopelessly seeking material objects, in pursuit of happiness. Blessed are your devotees that consciously seek to attain You, the source of all happiness. ♥️

A plant has to die as a seed, to become a full fledged tree. A wave has to die and merge, to become the vast ocean. Similarly, one has to die as a limited individual [give up the sense of being an individual person], to experience the limitless, blissful divinity.

If day by day, your agitation, anxiety, fears, compulsions and desires are becoming lesser and lesser - know that you're advancing towards Him.

Just like how a flower never loses its fragrance, even if the filth is thrown at it - likewise, the true devotees must never lose their goodness and sweetness, no matter what kind of filth life throws at them.

You must bear the burdens of those who, out of wisdom and devotion, surrender to you, O Lord. For they have offered you their life, with faith and love. It is this surrender, devotion, love and faith - that holds the power of even binding You - the boundless one. You too, my Lord, out of your compassion, gladly accept this bondage as well.

Others - who lack faith and love towards you - you take care of them as well. Unfortunately they are not aware about it, as they are not conscious enough to acknowledge your blissful all-pervading presence. They act too much out of their blunt, limited logic and arrogance - even deny your existence. That's why they always complain, lament and suffer, out of their own folly.
