BREAKING: Miami Heat guard Terry Rozier and Portland Trail Blazers head coach Chauncey Billups were arrested Thursday in a federal sports betting investigation, law enforcement officials tell CNN Sports.

Former NBA player Damon Jones faces charges too, the officials say.

Rozier, a 10th-year NBA veteran, is accused of rigging games for bettors by sharing roster and bench info and faking an injury nine minutes into one contest, officials said.

Separately, Hall of Famer Billups—a five-time All-Star and 2004 NBA champion—joined an illegal poker ring in Manhattan, Miami, Las Vegas and the Hamptons involving members of at least three New York mafia families, officials say. Billups and Jones were paid for participating, including Jones requesting a $2,500 prepayment for one session.

The second, filed in the summer of 2024, concerns the 2022 FBI search of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence for classified documents and the subsequent criminal case alleging mishandling of government records. Both filings allege privacy violations and malicious prosecution, with the second also accusing federal officials of harassment intended to influence the electoral outcome.

JUST IN: New York City Mayor Eric Adams will endorse former Gov. Andrew Cuomo in the race to replace him, sources in both camps tell CBS News New York's Marcia Kramer. It comes just two days before early voting starts.

Sources say Adams and Cuomo are working out a joint appearance that is expected to happen later Thursday.

The president signed the pardon on Wednesday, the people said. Trump recently indicated to advisers that he was sympathetic to arguments of political persecution related to Zhao and others, one of the people said.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said that Trump had "exercised his constitutional authority by issuing a pardon for Mr. Zhao, who was prosecuted by the Biden Administration in their war on cryptocurrency."
