✅Global Methane Pledge and the Methane Roadmap Action Program (M-RAP)
🅾️What?- The Global Methane Pledge (GMP) aims to reduce global methane emissions by at least 30% below 2020 levels by 2030. It encourages signatories to develop national Methane Action Plans.
🅾️The Climate and Clean Air Coalition (CCAC): Supports the GMP through the Methane Roadmap Action Program (M-RAP), providing funding and guidance for developing countries to create National Methane Action Plans.
🅾️Objectives of M-RAP
⚜️Quickly identify country-specific methane reduction needs.
⚜️Build capacity to pinpoint major methane sources (agriculture, fossil fuels, waste).
⚜️Translate existing plans into clear roadmaps for action.

🅾️Definition: RETV measures the heat flow through a building's entire envelope (walls, roof, windows, etc.). A lower RETV means better insulation.
