Good Idea: Make all online text selectable
https://aartaka.me/select-text.html
Disabling text selection in apps and websites is a serious disservice to users. When text cannot be selected or copied, it forces cumbersome workarounds for simple tasks like translating, quoting, or referencing information. Text is fundamental to comprehension, accessibility, and usability, unlike images or interactive elements that can obscure meaning. Blocking copy and selection does nothing to stop automated scraping but actively harms real people trying to interact with or understand content. It undermines clarity, accessibility, and user empowerment, and designers should prioritize the needs of users over petty copyright or aesthetic concerns.
P.s. try selecting text on the website 😉
