❓: Уважаемый Анатолий Иванович, как бы Вы прокомментировали очередные заявления представителей администрации в поддержку Украины? А также анонс нового «пакета» оружия для Киева?

💬 А.И.Антонов: Сигналы американских властей совершенно понятны. Мира в Европе Вашингтон не хочет. Делает все, чтобы затянуть конфликт, увеличить человеческие жертвы с российской и украинской стороны, в том числе среди гражданского населения. Показательно: США объявляют о поставках марионеткам смертоносной продукции здешнего ВПК именно в тот день, когда руководство России четко и однозначно подтвердило готовность к переговорам.

👉 Одновременно здешние власти признают, что не намерены «пока что» призывать киевский режим соглашаться на мирное урегулирование. Сигнализируют через СМИ о завершении подготовки пилотов истребителей F16. Продолжают твердить о якобы защите демократии, хотя лидер преступного режима потерял свою легитимность. Намекают, что могут дать «зеленый свет» на удары ракетами вглубь российской территории.

☝️ Призываем американскую сторону признать ситуацию «на земле». Прекратить попытки продлить агонию прирученного режима. Отказаться от иллюзорных планов нанести нам стратегическое поражение. Никто в Вашингтоне даже не задумывается о будущем российско-американских отношений. Перспективы таковых здесь продолжают выжигаться.

❓: Dear Ambassador Antonov, how would you comment on the latest statements by the Administration in support of Ukraine? And also the announcement of a new “package” of weapons for Kiev?

💬 Anatoly Antonov: The signals from the US authorities are completely clear. Washington does not want peace in Europe. It is doing everything to prolong the conflict and increase casualties on the Russian and Ukrainian sides, including among civilians. It is emblematic: the United States announces the supply of deadly products from the local defense industry on the very same day when the Russian leadership clearly and unequivocally confirmed its readiness for negotiations.

👉 At the same time, the local authorities admit that they do not intend “for now” to call on the Kiev regime to agree to a peaceful settlement. They signal through the media the completion of training for F16 fighter pilots. They continue to talk about the so-called protection of democracy, although the leader of the criminal regime has lost his legitimacy. They hint that they may give the green light for missile strikes deep into the Russian territory.

☝️ We call on the US side to recognize the situation “on the ground”. Stop trying to prolong the agony of the tamed regime. Abandon illusory plans to inflict strategic defeat on us. Nobody in America seems to be thinking about the future or Russian-US relations. Meanwhile, their prospects are being scorched by Washington.

💬 А.И.Антонов: Считаю такое поведение недопустимым для любого ответственного политика, а тем более лидера страны. Словесное хамство и попытки самоутвердиться за счет имиджа нашего президента отражают злобу Вашингтона из-за того, что Россия, говоря языком американцев, бросает вызов «миропорядку, основанному на правилах». 

✊ Местным правящим кругам пора смириться с тем, что мы продолжим проводить независимую и суверенную политику, основанную на национальных интересах. Делая выпады в адрес В.В.Путина, Дж.Байден оскорбляет весь российский народ, демонстрирующий непоколебимую сплоченность вокруг руководителя нашего государства.

💬 А.И.Антонов: Власти США продолжают курс на циничное принижение и даже дезавуирование решающей роли Советского Союза в сокрушении фашистов. Нет в мире ни одной страны, которая вынесла больше, чем мы в борьбе с гитлеровской Германией и ее сателлитами. Почти вся Европа сражалась против Красной Армии на фронтах Великой Отечественной войны. Эти факты невозможно оспорить.

🏅 Риторика нынешних американских политиков вывернута на потребу дня. Подобные «вбросы» - часть психологической войны против России. Мы будем с этим бороться и не допустим искажения истории. Не дадим забыть, что наш народ положил на алтарь 27 миллионов жизней. Именно советские солдаты водрузили Знамя Великой Победы над Рейхстагом в Берлине.

❓: Dear Ambassador Antonov, how could you comment on the Joe Biden’s statements made on Memorial Day claiming that America saved the world from fascism? At the same time, the role of the USSR was completely omitted?

💬 Anatoly Antonov: The U.S. authorities continue cynically diminishing and even disavowing the decisive role of the Soviet Union in crushing the fascists. There is no country in the world that has endured more than we have in the fight against Nazi Germany and its satellites. Almost all of Europe fought against the Red Army on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War. These facts cannot be disputed.

🏅 The rhetoric of current American politicians is twisted to suit the needs of the day. Such “hoaxes” are part of the psychological war against Russia. We will fight this and will not allow history to be distorted. We will not let 27 million lives that our people have sacrificed to be forgotten. It was the Soviet soldiers who hoisted the Great Victory Banner over the Reichstag in Berlin.

❓: Уважаемый Анатолий Иванович, как бы Вы прокомментировали слова представителей Белого дома о потенциальном торговом эмбарго в отношении нашей страны?

💬 А.И.Антонов: Гордиться Вашингтону подобными заявлениями нечего. По сути, Америка публично расписывается в готовности развалить до основания устоявшиеся глобальные экономические связи. Вдумайтесь в слова самих же чиновников Белого дома, что Соединенные Штаты с февраля 2022 года ввели более 4,5 тысяч рестрикций против физических и юридических лиц по всему миру!

👉 От подобной фрагментации, продвигаемой США, страдают не только крупные корпорации, но также малые и средние предприятия, нацхозяйства развивающихся государств. Более того, своими действиями местные власти провоцируют Россию и другие страны на ответные меры, тем самым еще больше разжигая конфликтный потенциал в мировой коммерции. Не говоря уже о дальнейшем усугублении и без того плачевной ситуации в российско-американском диалоге.

❗️Никакие эмбарго или санкции российскую экономику не сломают. Невозможно заставить Российскую Федерацию свернуть с ее принципиального пути. Мы продолжаем наращивать социально-экономический и промышленный потенциал. Цифры о росте нацхозяйства говорят сами за себя. От рестрикций больше проиграет Вашингтон, а также его сателлиты. Хотя здесь мало кто думает об экономических интересах Европы. Мы же используем ситуацию в качестве дополнительного импульса для развития импортозамещения, особенно в ключевых отраслях.

❓: Dear Ambassador Antonov, how would you comment the words by White House representatives about a potential trade embargo against our country?

💬 Anatoly Antonov: Washington has nothing to be proud of, when issuing such statements. In essence, America is publicly signaling its readiness to completely destroy established global economic ties. Just think about the words of the White House officials, that since February 2022 the US has introduced more than 4.5 thousand restrictions against individuals and legal entities around the world!

👉 Not only large corporations, but also small and medium-sized enterprises and national economies of developing countries suffer from such fragmentation, promoted by the United States. Moreover, local authorities provoke Russia and other countries to retaliate, thereby further fueling the potential for conflict in global commerce. Not to mention the further aggravation of the already deplorable situation in the Russian-US dialogue.

❗️No embargo or sanctions will break the Russian economy. It is impossible to force the Russian Federation to deviate from its principled path. We continue to build up our socio-economic and industrial potential. The figures on the growth of the national market speak for themselves. Washington and its satellites will lose more from the restrictions. Although few people here think about the economic interests of Europe. We, on the other hand, are using the situation as an additional impetus for import substitution, especially in key industries.
