📌 Quick English Tips: "When it comes to" and "When it comes down to it"

The United Nations says that more than three million people left their homes this year in countries like Burkina Faso, Mali, and Niger. This is because of fighting/combat/warfare and climate change.

In Burkina Faso, armed groups killed/slaughtered/massacred over 20,000 people. People in shelters/refuges/havens in the northeast need food, water, and medical help. Aid groups say that world leaders ignore this conflict. Armed groups linked to Al-Qaeda and ISIS killed many people, and the government cannot stop the violence/brutality/savagery. Almost a million people live in dangerous conditions.

There is little help for these crises in Africa. Burkina Faso has a military government since 2022. The ruler/leader/sovereign wants to improve security, and the economy, and return to civilian rule, but people don't believe it much.

fighting/combat/warfare == نبرد

kill/slaughter/massacre == کشتن

shelters/refuges/havens == پناهگاه

violence/brutality/savagery == خشونت

ruler/leader/sovereign == رهبر
