The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs responds to the report published by the International Court in The Hague 👆 and states that UNRWA still currently employs more than 1,400 Hamas operatives

Israel firmly rejects the "advisory opinion" of the International Court of Justice (ICJ), which was entirely predictable regarding UNRWA. This is yet another political attempt to impose diplomatic measures against Israel under the guise of "international law."

The opinion published today should have condemned the terrorist activity in which UNRWA was involved: UNRWA employees directly participated in the massacre of October 7 and continue to assist Hamas terrorist activity—all under the auspices of the United Nations. Hamas terrorist activity within UNRWA took place before the massacre, during the massacre, and after it. Israel has provided the UN with extensive evidence proving Hamas infiltration into UNRWA, but the UN has never fully investigated the extent of this infiltration. To this day, UNRWA still employs more than 1,400 Hamas operatives. Israel will not cooperate with an organization infiltrated by terrorist activity.
Israel fully upholds its obligations under international law. However, it completely rejects the politicization of international law, which is intended to produce political outcomes and impose measures aimed at harming the State of Israel.

Hamas' weapons are legitimate weapons for the defense of the Palestinian people.

The main problem is the weapons in the hands of the occupation (Israel - AA), the weapons that killed the residents of the Strip and destroyed the Strip – not Hamas' weapons.
