A little after 1 AM, sirens were activated in the Mefalsim area in the Gaza Envelope. They were activated twice within about ten minutes, and it was determined that these were false alarms.
At the same time, at that hour, Gazan channels reported that the IDF continues to demolish buildings in the Shejaiya neighborhood in the eastern part of Gaza City (which is within the yellow zone controlled by the IDF).

The reason: Canada funded an influence campaign in the US against President Trump’s tariff policy—Trump’s “baby.”
According to Trump’s statement, Canada used segments of soundtrack from the popular Republican president Ronald Reagan (the 40th president of the US) as part of an advertisement in which it invested 75 million dollars to oppose President Trump’s imposition of tariffs—which, among other things, were directed against Canada.
Trump claims that the goal of the Canadian “blatant” conduct was to influence US court rulings against his tax policy.
