2024 ENGLISH SPM TIPS (HOT TOPICS)creds to admin azel

Reading is the best way to improve your English Language.

Why did I say this? A little story, I was weak in English before, I'm not very good at writing, and I often make grammatical errors. When I was in form 3, I started to read. I read novels and documentaries a lot, mostly about crimes and horror. Ever since I started to read, I learned a lot of new vocabularies, grammar rules and type of sentences. I did not realise that I actually improved my English when I managed to get higher marks in English exams.

I really recommend you guys to read every day, it is one of the best ways to improve your English. Why? Reading helps you learn new vocabulary, understand grammar, and see how sentences are built. Reading also trains your brain to think in English. When you read often, English becomes more natural to you.

Start with simple books or articles that match your level. Don't worry if you don't understand every word. Try to guess the meaning from the context. If you want, you can use a dictionary or any search engine like Google, Merriam-Webster, etc, but don't stop reading too often. The goal is to enjoy the story and learn at the same time.

You can read many things: books, newspapers, online blogs, or even subtitles while watching movies. Choose topics you like. If you enjoy football, read football news in English. If you like history or science, find articles about that. Reading is easier when you're interested in the content.

Try to read a little every day β€” even just 10 minutes. Over time, you will notice your English getting better. You will speak more confidently, write more clearly, and understand people more easily. So remember: improve your English by reading!
