የ2017 ዓ.ም የ12ኛ ክፍል ማጠናቀቂያ ብሔራዊ ፈተና ከሰኔ 23 እስከ ሐምሌ 08/2017 ዓ.ም እንደሚሰጥ ይታወቃል።
በወጣው መርሐግብር መሰረት ሰኞ ሰኔ 23/2017 ዓ.ም የተፈጥሮ ሳይንስ ተማሪዎች ፈተና ይጀምራል፡፡
ፈተናውን ለመውሰድ 608 ሺህ ተማሪዎች የተመዘገቡ ሲሆን፤ 150 ሺህ የሚሆኑት በበይነ መረብ የሚፈተኑ ናቸው።
