Two Higher Education Institutions in Uzbekistan have launched a new project “Open Food Innovation University” (OFINU) funded by the EU Erasmus+ program
From February 1, 2024, with the Samarkand Institute of Agricultural Innovations and Research, 2 HEIs from EU countries, 3 HEIs from Tajikistan, 2 HEIs from Uzbekistan, "Open Food Innovation University" funded by the Erasmus+ program of the European Union ) started implementing the "OFINU" project.

"ECAMPUZ - European World Talent Camp for Uzbekistan Scientists in Food Science and Technology - ERASMUS-EDU-2022-CBHE" is organizing the “Follow-up meetings with the CAMP 1 participants” from 26th February to 4th March, 2024 at the Andijan State University, Urgench State University, Bukhara Engineering Technological Institute and Center for Advanced Technologies.
During the follow-up visits, EU trainers will hold additional scientific seminars with CAMP 1 participants as well as with other UZB partners, including the food industry. This procedure will ensure progress and help to improve the next CAMP based on the feedback from both the CAMP 1 committee and students.
The schedule of the “Follow-up meetings with the CAMP 1 participants”:
1. Andijan State University - 26th February 2024:
2. Urgench State University - 27th February 2024;
3. Bukhara engineering-technological institute - 29th February 2024;
4. Center for Advanced Technologies (with the CAMP 1 participants from Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology and National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek) - 4th March 2024.
During the follow-up visits, EU trainers will hold additional scientific seminars with CAMP 1 participants as well as with other UZB partners, including the food industry.
