The LESLIE project of the Erasmus+ programme has started its work

The opening event of the LESLIE project of the Erasmus+ programme was held on February 26-29 at the Polytechnic University of Valencia, Spain. In it, the rector of the Polytechnic University of Valencia, José E. Capilla Romá, welcomed all the guests and wished them success in the future work of the project.

The EMPOWER project of the Erasmus+ programme has started its work

A brief information about the "Open Hours"

On March 5th, we hosted an "Open Hours" event at the National Erasmus+ Office. Attendees included students from various universities and staff members from higher education institutions.

Four higher education institutions of Uzbekistan within the framework of the Erasmus Plus programme of the European Union started a new project "Establishing a Bachelor's Degree in Sustainable Transport Systems" on March 1, 2024. Today the official Launch Meeting was held at the Polytechnic University of Turin in Tashkent.

On the 4-5th of March, the Second Uzbekistan-UK Education Forum took place. This forum was hosted by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovations of the Republic of Uzbekistan in partnership with Westminster International University in Tashkent, the British Council in Uzbekistan, and the University of Westminster. The Forum addressed core priorities for Higher Education in Uzbekistan and the UK, and highlighted key ways in which these priorities were delivered, including through transnational collaborations. The impact of Higher Education policy, practice, and partnerships was a focus throughout.

Our team members of the National Erasmus+ Office in Uzbekistan also attended this forum and actively joined educational discussions. This forum helped us become aware of Uzbekistan-UK educational collaboration and marked an awesome start of a new partnership between universities of both countries.
