The Thor missile, was also used to lift Warheads into near space to conduct high altitude, nuclear explosion tests. These shots were collectorally called operation Fishbowl. So what happened was the government when they started making missiles that were powerful enough that they thought they could break through the sea of glass.

During the Cold War, used the Cold War as a tactic for exploding high altitude missiles to try and break through what they already knew was the Dome on the earth. These missiles would hit up at a certain altitude and then light would shine all the way to the other hemisphere. And the reason that was is because they were hitting that glass and the glass was reflecting it all the way across the sky. It's not some globe earth where they're just trying why did they just shoot a missile to see how high it can blow up? Like they're doing it for a reason and they called it operation Fishbowl for a reason.

April Fools’ Day

April 1st has long been known as April Fools’ Day, but when did this day of tricking people become a thing and why? The origins are traced back to 1500s in France. This day came into existence when France implemented the Gregorian calendar. Previously, the French used the Julian calendar when each year began on the spring equinox, which usually fell near April 1st.

However, under the Gregorian calendar, the new year started Jan 1st. Many in France were not aware of the calendar change and continued to celebrate the new year around April 1st. Those people were considered April fools.
