The rooftop garden was a prominent feature of the store in the 1930s and 1940s.

It was designed to be a peaceful oasis for shoppers, offering a space to relax and enjoy the views of the city.

The garden featured a variety of plants, fountains, and seating areas

Selfridges has continued to use its rooftop for various projects and events, including restaurants, a boating lake, and other installations.
