Eyre Square, Galway — 1903
Captured by H.C. White Co., this scene shows the bustle of market day in the heart of Galway. Farmers and townsfolk crowd the square with carts and livestock, trading goods and stories against the backdrop of familiar shopfronts. Over a century later, Eyre Square remains the city’s beating heart — a place where commerce, community, and tradition still meet.
