Ahead of this weekend’s Austrian Grand Prix, the FIA discovered the Red Bull Ring is 8 meters longer than previously recorded — now officially 4.326 km instead of 4.318 km… 🧐🚨

Despite no changes to the layout, a recent scan revealed the difference, possibly due to natural land shifts or previous tweaks to corner widths.

As a result, the total race distance for 71 laps increases slightly to 307.02 km instead of 306.452 km last year.
