The gaps between gardening advice is fucking insane sometimes
I have heard for years, and years, and years, that squash should be planted on "hills," but I never really understood how to do that because the soil I always used just eroded into being flat anyways, but it always felt like a stupid question to ask.
This is the first time I have EVER seen someone say that hills are only feasible in a certain kind of soil. I have read so many gardening books and been gardening for SO long.

And also, the suggestions of separating a pepo from a maxima and a moschata? That's something I kind of knew but have never actually seen articulated, it's always just "grow one gourd, use blossom bags, or put enough distance between your squashes"
