It's something that on the internet is well known and discussed, but a lot of people who just get their informations from TV or big news outlets simply don't know about the damage it's doing.
It is disheartening to me because we have had a big surge in environmental activism lately and yet it's still something that people struggle to care about in their everyday lives. I guess it's also because so many things are burning now that it's hard to see the bigger picture
