An analogy that my friend said about the show.

"It's like having a bucket of the best ice cream. You savour it for years, it’s the best ice cream. And when you finally get down to the end of the bucket you find an eviscerated rat. That’s Game of Thrones. Then you feel bad about wasting your time eating that rat ice cream, and although the ice cream was really good at the beginning you can never go back to it cause all you can think of is the disgusting rat at the bottom."

I’m watching through for the first time and just saw Hodor’s origin

Devastated is a good word. I knew there was some meaning behind it because of the memes, but I’ve managed to escape 99% of the spoilers for the show. I was not prepared for THAT.

Rather than grabbing wife, if Catelyn grabbed Walder Frey, do you think she could have saved Robb?

The spoilers are already starting to pop up for a Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. Please have some courtesy

So I know we're all excited for the new spinoff and all, but PLEASE, PLEASE, put spoiler warnings on any posts that spoil the show for other people.

I just watched a video by a tiktoker who's name I am not going to mention cough Constantine James cough on tiktok spoiling something about the show. He then said "sorry for the spoiler" RIGHT AFTER SPOILING IT. And he gives you the spoiler at the START of the video without so much as a written warning, just for dramatic effect.

He then defends this in the comments by saying "Oh but it happens before the story." (It's about an important character in the show) SO? It was probably going to be revealed in the show and act as a bit of a shocking moment! This is like spoiling the fact (spoiler alert for GOT) Ned wasn't the one to kill Arthur Dayne because it "happens before the story". Have some decency.

Thank you for listening to my rant. Also, please don't send any hate his way. I mentioned the name so people who have read the book or don't care abt spoilers can go over there and see what I'm talking about.

Considering that Roose at least suspects Ramsay of having killed Domeric and believes he will kill any other heirs that he has. Why dose Roose keep him around?

If you were transported into the GOT universe and became the Night King's advisor, what advice would you give him to avoid defeat in the Battle of Winterfell ?
