According to you who's the main character of this show!?
Although there's no universal explicitly mentioned Main character but I think the closest one would be jon snow 💯 he was always in the spotlight from the very start, pictured as an honourable brave and courageous warrior

A character, living or dead, gets to go back to their first appearance on the show with all of the knowledge they had up until their death or up until the series' finale. What is one choice they would change to improve their situation or chances of survival?
For example, Robb may decide not to send Theon away, not to execute Karstark, not to go back on his word with Frey, not to marry Talisa, etc. Ned may decide not to go to King's Landing, not to trust Janos Slynt and Littlefinger, not to get on Cersei's bad side, try to avoid going to the dungeons, etc. Bran may choose not to climb the keep and find that sexy scene that led to his crippling, or something like that. But they can only choose one.
Someone like Oberyn can't change anything until his first appearance. So for him he may decide to do everything the same, except not get cocky in the fight with the Mountain.
Which characters would have some good choices to choose from, and which choice would be ideal for them to change?

"The signs were there" narrative about Daenerys is extremely flawed lol
I know I may cause some controversy with this one, but I genuinely don't get the narrative that Daenerys had one path and that path being the one leading to madness and no other path. Was she cruel to her ENEMIES??? 100%. But there is a fundamental difference between striking back at people that struck out against you or those below them versus flat out genocide for ZERO REASON like she did in Kings Landing. Like the battle was quite literally won and she had the throne.
Yes, her punishments for some of her enemies were absolutely extreme but let's be quite honest here all of the other houses and leader of those houses are guilty of cruel killings and punishments at various points in the show and the book lol even the "pure and honorable" House Stark
Now, if you want to justify her madness after losing several people close to her, including two of her dragons then sure I can buy that but the notion that she was always the mad queen starting with season one is nonsense

I just finished the show and I’m sure you’ve all seen this a million times, but the ending absolutely ruins it
Man it was such a good show too, but the way they decided to end it made no sense. If I could’ve just stopped myself at season 7 this would’ve been a top 2 show of all time for me.
Jon Snow going from bastard son sentenced to nothing for the rest of his life, to becoming lord commander of the nights watch, to king of the north, always being the man who knew right from wrong and a great leader, he just gets sent back to the nights watch because of some argument with the unsullied (who are presumably leaving). No one even stood up for Jon when they were having the “who will be king” discussion, not his sisters, not his brother, not samwell Tarly, none of them, which was so uncharacteristic. They all know who he really is too, it just made sense for him to be the king.
How does it make any sense for bran to be king? He’s had 0 storyline towards that at all and now after a 2 minute talk from Tyrion he’s now the king? Also in the past I’m pretty sure he was asked about it and he said he can’t because he’s the 3 eyed raven now.
Then there’s Daenerys. She goes from 7.5 seasons of being portrayed as this woman who’s going to revolutionize the realm, change the world for the better, to just burning all of kings landing down when Cersei had surrendered in the snap of a finger. To be fair they did foreshadow she had a bad side but the way they transitioned her to that bad side was terribly done. Her 180 from good to evil was so poorly done.
Also why give Jamie Lannister a whole redemption arc and storyline with brienne of Tarth just for him to revert back to “I love Cersei I’m gonna go die with her” and have him die? So confused there. I wouldn’t have minded if they gave him the same ending as Theon, dying in the battle against the white walkers. It’s like they gave Jamie all this character development for what? Just for him to revert back to his “I love Cersei”?
Why exactly is Arya going as far west as west goes? How does that fit her character at all? Just about the only character arc that came to an end in the finale that made sense was Sansa becoming lady of winter fell.
