We know that AI-assisted mapping within complex patterns can pose challenges, as the default Mapflow models may yield satisfactory results in some parts of the AOI but fall short in others.
To address this, we have developed and implemented a workflow specifically designed to enhance the review and validation of the results.
With this new feature, Mapflow customers can take advantage of our enterprise support by activating it through the Mapflow Custom plan. This empowers team collaboration and ensures precise AI-assisted mapping by offering an optional SLA (Service Level Agreement).
Upgrade to #Mapflow #Custom plan today and elevate your AI-assisted mapping to new levels of service!
Read the full description of the workflow or contact us for a detailed introduction and demonstration.

This summer we go through some difficulties working remotely and from different time zones. Sometimes we wish we could do in a better collaborative way in the office and look for better and more stable workplace conditions as long as for financial and geopolitical stability. Stability? Aha… you must be joking? 😔
But we don’t stop having fun from traveling and communicating with our teammates. In particular we started discovering for ourselves the concept of #workation: no matter what they say and where you are - do what you do and stay dedicated to your “occasional workspace” during your workation. 💪 😉
See some photos of our occasional workspaces and choose the best one or share with us smth from your own workation stories.

We continue to research 🏡🌳urban green patterns around the world.
Twenty-seven urban green patterns were generated using #Mapbox satellite basemap and #Mapflow AI-Mapping Platform.
The tree cover for the main Latin American cities from Mexico to Santiago reflects a unique mix of human-nature interaction.

Back to the office. Although Lakshmi is the goddess of wealth and good fortune I decided to bring #Ganesha as He is the patron of all beginnings and a remover of obstacles.
Hence the #startup journey is full of beginnings, proof of concepts, and most of all - obstacles - He will definitely become our good fellow business advisor.

This is an essential announcement to our #Mapflow #QGIS users!
Our plugin 2.1.0 version has an issue that will make it incompatible with the upcoming minor API changes, so please upgrade to the latest version 2.1.1 available in QGIS.
It has nothing new except for the fix, but the more significant changes are coming soon in v2.2.0, so stay tuned.

Join the telegram group (👉 communication in Russian, English) dedicated to #Geoinformatics and #GIS technologies in Central Asia. It was initiated by a small group of members and is worth participating in whether you are connected to these geographical regions or just want to contribute to the evolving community. Latest updates / discussions in the group:
- United Nations University course about using Google #EarthEngine for Effective Use of Space Applications for Drought Monitoring and Early Warning through the Regional Drought
- Huge Methane Leaks in #Kazakhstan detected by satellites. The Bloomberg posted an article about the investigation showing that it could inflict "the same short-term climate damage as the annual emissions from roughly 814,000 US cars at the lower end of the range and 2.49 million cars at the top end"

Plugin update 2.2.0: providers list and model options! #Mapflow #QGIS UI is becoming more consistent with Mapflow.ai Web.
1. Data Providers API
The new version has a new "default" data providers protocol, the list of data providers is now fetched from the server, rather than being saved in the plugin. It allows more flexible data source management regarding free and commercial providers.
Two of the providers are the same as in the Web: #Mapbox and #WorldImagery.
All the custom sources that are set up by the user, remain in place.
2. Model options
New version of the plugin is ready for the next step - options for the AI model pipelines, just like in the Mapflow Web. The server side for this update will arrive pretty soon - so you will be able to customize model pipelines. You are always welcome to contact us if you have more option / customization requests.
3. As the processing is started, you can check processing metadata (like data source and selected options) by clicking "See details" button.
Update now and don't hesitate to share your feedback with us. )

Model options in #Mapflow #QGIS are available! Thanks to the new modification of API it's enabled the basic customization of the workflows as the Mapflow #Web app does.
If you are using QGIS you will find out that the "🌲 Forest" model now has an option "Heights" allowing users to classify forestry vegetation by categories depending on the tree heights prediction (instead of the separate model).
The "🏠 Buildings" model provides the following options: "Simplification", "Classification" and "Merge with OSM" (OSM), just like in Mapflow Web.
Don't forget to upgrade the plugin to the latest v. 2.2.1!
Report us if you have any issues or propose a feature request.
