Recently, the situation east of Kostyantynivka has become very mixed and complicated as Russian forces attempt to consolidate outside the city and begin entering the more built-up area.

As a result, I have decided to add a very large grey zone, where Russian and Ukrainian positions are mixed and layered, often operationally encircling each other. This map below shows areas where Russian and Ukrainian soldiers have been recorded, although this doesn't necessarily show consolidation. In the future, once the situation clears up and one side clearly regains the initiative, the map will be updated to show additional control zones. But for now, it will look something like this.

This has happened due to the large open areas here, with limited cover from treelines and individual, isolated buildings. Additionally, Ukraine's manpower shortages have forced them to resort to increased drone usage. Kostyantynivka provides practically endless hiding spots for drone operators, while Russia has Chasiv Yar and the surrounding forests and villages to use for this. Both Russian and Ukrainian soldiers are operating in small assault groups of usually 2-4 people, clearing each other out of their positions. A similar situation was observed (and still is to some extent) in the Dobropillya direction.

Meanwhile, extensive preparatory bombing and shelling continues on Kostyantynivka, primarily targeting its eastern districts, ahead of the Russian storming operation on the city.

In the Hulyaipole direction, Russian forces continued to advance over the last week, and have captured the rest of Poltavka.

After crossing the Yanchur River and securing a bridgehead on its western bank, Russian forces pushed further under heavy drone and artillery cover, expanding their zone of control to the northern outskirts of Poltavka. Other forces advanced south, linking up with the formations north of Malynivka.

Additionally, the Russians improved their positions north of Malynivka, capturing the rest of the forests there and beginning a push west of Poltavka. However, the arrival of Ukrainian reinforcements has slowed their advance, and counterattacks will likely begin in the near future.

NATO command in Europe, responsible for Ukraine, is concerned about the advance of the Russian Armed Forces in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
After the surrender of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Novopavlovka, there is a high probability of the Ukrainian Armed Forces losing Pokrovskoe and an open road to Pavlograd.

Situation on Zvanovskaya front: During the last ten days following the capture of Pereizne & Vyimka Russian Army began the capture of the salient between these localities taking control over several positions in this direction as Ukrainian Army withdrew northwards.

Ukrainian-Russian war. Day 1332:
Situation on Pokrovsk & Mirnograd fronts: Russian army continued to advance on the eastern outskirts of Myrnohrad, taking a series of trenches in that direction. From the north, Russian forces are fighting Ukrainian army in the last section of the Kapitalna Mine after securing the terrikon and wastewater treatment facilities.
In Pokrovsk, the situation is quite unclear. Although some Russian advances have been confirmed in the districts of Pivdennyi, Central Regional Hospital District, and Pervomaika, much of the city center is in a gray zone (referring to most of the districts of Durniak, Pervomaika, the market district, and the central district) where groups of Russian and Ukrainian soldiers are fighting for control.

Huliaipole direction:
In this sector of the front, the situation is worsening. The Poltavka bridgehead is now completely under enemy control. The enemy did not stop at what it had achieved and began advancing deeper into our defenses, trying to expand the line of contact.

The Okhotnychyi area remains uncertain — currently it is a gray zone, but there is every reason to believe the enemy will soon try to press this defensive line.

Despite this, our units are not remaining in passive defense. A counterattack toward Malynivka has been recorded — we managed to take part of the ravine and several forest belts around it. The progress is difficult but important: these positions can serve as a base for further pressure and to hold back the enemy, preventing their movement toward populated areas directly before Huliaipole.

Overall, the line is holding with difficulty, but the fighting spirit remains strong — work continues and every meter here is paid for in blood.

Pokrovsk direction:
Street fighting has intensified in the city. The enemy has broken into the western flank and established de facto control over most of that area. From there, they are gradually moving east through the private sector, and their likely next direction of advance is toward School No. 2. The dense urban layout allows them to move step by step, using courtyards and fences as cover.

North of the main fighting, the enemy has also taken up several positions in the private sector and has been recorded near the railway station. Control of, or even the ability to fire on, the station gives them a logistical and tactical advantage — it divides the city and complicates maneuvering for our forces.

Next, to reach another part of the city, they will likely attempt to push between the Locomotive and Wagon depots. If they manage to establish themselves there, they will be able to put pressure on Route T-0504 and gain fire control over the approaches and roads leading to Myrnohrad.

Kostiantynivka direction:
Over the past 24 hours, signs have appeared that the settlement of Pleshchiyivka has come under enemy control. This is confirmed by yesterday’s attacks launched from that area. It was clear even earlier that Pleshchiyivka and Ivanopillia would be the next targets — and that is exactly what is now happening.

At present, Pleshchiyivka can be considered a gray zone — the situation there is unstable, and local counterattacks are possible, as has already happened in recent days. However, the overall dynamics indicate that something went off plan and the enemy managed to advance.

At the same time, reports indicate that in Ivanopillia, the enemy is already trying to consolidate around the southeastern farms, with active clearing operations underway. If the complete loss of Pleshchiyivka is confirmed soon, Kleban-Byk will also be at risk — it may cease to function as a kill zone and instead fall under enemy control.
