I’m pretty sure the golden trio never uses transfiguration outside of the classroom

I can only think of two times that it is directly mentioned outside of class settings.

When Dumbledore tells Harry that the potion in the basin can’t be drained, siphon, or transfigured in book 6. And when Hermione scolded Ron about not being able to transfer your food and how he really needs to pay more attention in transfiguration.

You would think it would come up at least once in the seven books as a solution to their problems, but I really can’t think of any times. Especially seeing as they start getting taught it in their first year.

I think Dumbledore transfigures all that broken glass into sand when he’s fighting Voldemort in the ministry of Magic in book 5, but even if we do count that, that’s still not Harry Ron or Hermione using it.

I honestly can’t think of any times other than that where ANYONE uses it.

I know this'll never happen, but Hans Gruber from Die Hard would be the perfect Snape

I will always be grateful for the FB series for putting in a Muggle's perspective in Jacob Kowalski. Him having to walk in the rain always makes me emotional

Can we all agree that Barty Jr. would have been a great teacher if he weren't such an asshole?

Why did pettigrew hide as a rat?

Everyone thinks hes dead. Why doesn't he just leave the country?

And live as a you know human.

Once it became clear Voldemort isnt coming back anytime soon just skip town. Like it makes no sense why pretend to be some kids pet for YEARS.

Susan Bones splinching herself

Anyone think it was underplayed? Susan loses her whole leg and it is glossed over. Whereas in a later book, Harry sees Ron get splinched and realzies how horrible it is--it's in pain screaming, bleeding with a big chunk of his leg ripped off.

Susan Bones loses a leg and it seems she is crying with the shock, not with the pain. Like, wouldn't it leave a big pool of blood and require a trip to Saint Mungo's to heal rather than a wave of the wand, she's alright again and Twinkie Twycross or whatever his name is dismisses it.

Why did Hermione sign the birthday letter she gave to Harry in PoA (HP3) as Hermonie
