Did anyone else get the feeling 'motherly love' for Draco was not the sole factor behind Narcisa's big decision?

I used to think voldemort was just a strict teacher at hogwarts when I was 8 or something.

When I was like 8 watching harry Potter with my older sister I always used to assume voldemort was just a teacher who got very pissed off if you mentioned his lack of nose.

My 8 year old brain just filled it in for some reason, when I heard "he who should not be named" i heard "don't mention his lack of nose" tbh I think my brain just replaced Snape with voldemort in some scenes my imagination was wild to be honest.

That's all I thought voldemorts characters was untill I got older and could actually understand the story 😅
