Pars Place in collaboration with Jalal Kimia holds a weekly drum/Daf Circle.
We encourage guests to join and connect not only with their own selves and emotions, but to also connect with a group of people possibly facing similar challenges in life. Group drumming alleviates isolation and alienation.

No experience is necessary! We invite you to join the circle and express yourself!
Bringing your own instrument is preferred.

Join us for an online support group led by Valia Shoja, MA on the current events that have disturbed our sense of safety and created a tremendous amount of stress for many of us. Many have experienced confusion, fear, helplessness, and overwhelming anxiety.
By sharing your experience in a safe and confidential setting, you can gain insight from learning from each other’s experiences, recognizing distress and its effects, and learning healthy coping strategies for dealing with the grief of a traumatic event.

Iranian-American Young Professionals - "BE OUR VOICE" Walk

In light of the recent Woman, Life, Freedom movements in Iran, we are coming together to express our support and raise awareness at the National Mall in D.C.

Please join us on Sunday, January 29th for a walk to "Be Our Voice”. The walk starts at 1 pm from the Washington Monument towards the Thomas Jefferson Memorial. Please wear all black in solidarity of those we have lost in fighting for Freedom in Iran.
