He held the Mushaf in one hand, and on the other, he had this special laser device, which identifies black text and enlarges the text as you manoeuvre it across, and placed it close to his eye line. The uncle carried on like this all the way from 'asr to maghrib, sitting in this same position, slowly toiling through the Mushaf.

SubhanAllah, how many of us have been blessed with good eye sight, but weeks, months, or even years will pass by, but our eyes haven't glanced through the Qur'an? How many of us have even been blessed with good eye sight and fluency of recitation, yet we get easily bored and lose interest after reading the Qur'an for 5 minutes, and instead spend hours browsing through our social media.
