Ukraine received the minehunter Alkmaar from the Netherlands, – Commander of the Ukrainian Navy Oleksii Neizhpapa reported.

He added that another such ship is expected by the end of the year. Crew training is already underway.

An Alkmaar-class vessel is designed to detect and destroy naval mines. It is equipped with remotely operated vehicles for neutralizing them. The ship also carries an automatic cannon, machine guns, and underwater drones

In the Orikhiv direction, as a result of the skillful actions of the assault units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the tactical position in the area of ​​the settlement of Mali Shcherbaki, Zaporizhia region, has been improved.

In general, our troops advanced 3.5 km, destroying a significant number of russian occupiers and taking prisoners.
