Our client is a Venture Capital funded start up aiming to revolutionize green energy distribution and make their mark in their energy industry. They are currently looking to scale fast and revolutionize their customer experience.
⚡️The Project
They are currently looking at redesigning their e-commerce website which uses Shopify. They want to provide a great visual and seamless experience to their customers and think that the current website does not quite meet the mark.
⚡️Your profile
You are a UI Designer with experience in Shopify (you know the limitations of it and can design around them).
You have great knowledge of E-Commerce websites
⚡️Team Setup
This will pretty much be a one-person team however you will be managed by the Product Manager and have support from the CTO
⚡️Approval process
If not already done, follow the regular approval process with our Domain Expert.
At the client side, there will be one interview with the CTO.

Our client is on a mission to empower the local community and support local businesses. They support cities, service providers, and municipalities in the digitised implementation of online and offline vouchers and want to fill German inner cities and places with more life and thus bring more purchasing power to all homes. They produce digital vouchers as well as 100% ecologically produced voucher cards with great designs, easy to personalise and that would make excellent gifts.
They believe that the variety of local offers is far too valuable to leave the shopping world to a few big houses and internet giants. Therefore their incentive is to preserve and develop the local communities.
⭐️The Role:
• As a key team member, your primary focus will revolve around crafting and enhancing the website, shop, and iOS and Android apps which are primarily on React/React Native and are supported by node.js/AWS infrastructure.
• Collaborating closely with the product and tech team, you will play a vital role in devising customer-centric solutions, ensuring an exceptional user experience.
• Moreover, you will actively engage as a supportive sparring partner for fellow software developers within your team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
What you bring:
• You possess prior professional expertise as a React Native developer, demonstrating your competence in web or app development using React/React Native.
• Additionally, you have acquired valuable experience in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Your proficiency extends to Git and version control, and you possess familiarity with cloud technologies like AWS and infrastructure management.
• Furthermore, you exhibit the capability to design software architectures that are both scalable and secure.
⭐️Plus (but not a must-have):
• Preferred qualifications include familiarity with Agile development methodologies like Scrum and/or Kanban, along with a solid grasp of agile values.
• Proficiency in developing REST web services and APIs is essential.
• While German language skills are considered advantageous, they are not mandatory; excellent English skills are highly valued.
• Given the dynamic nature of our team and the startup atmosphere within our company, we seek someone who feels at ease and comfortable in such an environment.
