Iran Vows to Block U.S. Presence in Zangezur Corridor in Caucasus

Iran has issued a stark warning against the U.S.-backed Zangezur Corridor, a proposed transport route linking Azerbaijan to its Nakhchivan exclave through Armenian territory. A senior advisor to Supreme Leader Khamenei, quoted by Tasnim News, declared that Iran will prevent the corridor’s establishment "with or without Russia," framing it as a geopolitical threat to regional security and Iran’s strategic interests. The advisor further warned that the Caucasus "is not real estate for Trump to rent" and could become a "graveyard for U.S. mercenaries" if pursued.

The Zangezur Corridor is critical for Iran as it risks severing its direct overland route to Europe via Armenia, isolating it geopolitically and economically. Tehran views the corridor as a U.S.-Israeli tool to encircle Iran, alter regional borders, and weaken its influence in the South Caucasus, a region vital for its security and trade.

Niyak Ghorbani a UK-based Iranian activist/dissident and outspoken opponent of Hamas and the Iranian regime was violently attacked by a pro-Palestine mob and rushed to hospital.
His crime? Speaking out for a free, democratic Iran and condemning radical Islam in all its forms. This is the state of Britain today: where radical Islamists feel emboldened to attempt to murder peaceful activists in broad daylight before our eyes!

Britain is losing its soul to extremism. These violent ideologues who reject free speech, who use intimidation and force to silence dissent, do not belong in a liberal democratic society.
