If you have something to publish, we are living in the best time to be an author. 

a few years ago Amazon started providing a self-publishing service, meaning you provide them the soft copies of your book and they print it for you without any initial fee. they later deduct the printing cost from the revenue. 

but they have not started processing books written in one of Ethiopian languages. thus for local languages, we need to use 'lulu' to publish the book and link it to amazon for global distribution.

The most common question I get in the comment section or via email is, HOW CAN WE MAKE PAYMENT FROM ETHIOPIA FOR OUR INTERNATIONAL APPLICATIONS? unfortunately, our local banks do not allow us to pay internationally I understand that we have to find some relatives or a friend to pay it on our behalf. but it can sometimes get frustrating to ask those people again and again.

Wes verification, SOPHAS application payment, USMLE registration & exam fee, U world subscription, PLAB, and etcetera are not a one-time thing. One thing follows the other, and 'Transfer wise' is a good solution to get an international bank account and card so that you can pay at your convenience. in this 5 min video, I have tried to show you how I am using this account.

This is part one of two videos we prepared to share our Step one experience. We know that the journey ahead is much longer than the one we came so far and these videos are recorded in a spirit of helping anyone not make the mistakes we made during our preparation.

ዶ/ር አሊ ዳውድ ይባላል። የህፃናት የልብ ህክምና ስፔሻሊስት (Interventional pediatric cardiologist) ነው።

ለ16 አመታት በ Clinical Medicine አገልግሏል። ከ2007 ዓ.ም ጀምሮ በኢትዮጵያ የህፃናት የልብ ህክምና ማዕከል as an Interventional pediatric cardiologist እያገለገለ ነው። በዚህ ዘርፍም ብቸኛው ሀኪም ነው።

ዶ/ር አሊ ካለፉት ጥቂት ሳምንታት ጀምሮ በሳምባ ካንሰር (Lung Cancer) ህመም እየተሰቃየ ነው። ህመሙም ጊዜ የማይሰጥ በመሆኑ ወደ ውጭ ሀገር በመሄድ አስቸኳይ ህክምና እንዲያገኝ የጥቁር አንበሳ ሜዲካል ቦርድ ወስኗል። ህክምናውም ከአንድ አመት በላይ ክትትል የሚያስፈልገውና ከፍተኛ የህክምና ወጪ እንደሚያስፈልገው ታውቋል።
