Allah chose so-and-so as a martyr; this is a gift granted to that person. It is a bounty from Allah, never a loss or harm. Therefore, people need to learn the culture of martyrdom. Martyrdom is a blessing and favour from the Lord of the worlds, and it is never a loss or harm."

A passage about the war between the Jews and Muslims

The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:

“There will be a war between you and the Jews, you will be on the eastern side of the Jordan River, and they will be on the western side.”

Understanding this was quite difficult for the Companions because the Jews were not powerful at that time. Moreover, the Muslims were not even there yet. There were no Muslims living in Jordan.

The narrator of the hadith says: “I didn’t even know where the Jordan River was.” The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, was speaking about places we didn’t even know the location of.


The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, would say that this is the place where you will fight. And this is good news, meaning, insha’Allah, Israel will not be able to expand toward a greater Israel. Its current borders are the furthest point it will reach, because right now the Jordan River is the border, and this will be the line of battle. And the likely outcome will be the victory of the Muslims. The believers will triumph.

When Islam enters a heart, it brings about a revolution within it. A person meets their estranged essence, their innate nature/fitrah.They begin to recognise the signs of Allah’s existence and oneness.

The heart, having found its Creator and worshipping Him upon tawheed, attains an indescribable peace and tranquillity. The revealed and cosmic signs that nourish faith fall upon the heart like drops of spring rain. The heart, hardened by shirk, bid’ah, and sin, first casts off its layer of dead soil, then trembles, swells, and blossoms with all kinds of mercies. Just as nature awakens with the coming of spring, the heart too begins to awaken and feel. How beautiful is faith. How sweet is the excitement of those first days. How delightful it is for a person to end the estrangement between themselves and their own essence, and between themselves and the universe.

How profound a sense of worth it is to feel oneself a servant of Al-Waahid and Al-Ahad. How precious it is to carry guidance upon one’s chest like a medal of honour.

A Dangerous False Translation of the Quran:

Another verse that has been distorted. In Surah Al-Isra, our Lord says: "And We have fastened every man's deeds to his neck.” [17:13]

Do you know how they translate it? “We have tied every person’s destiny to his effort.” One of modern Mutazilites heretical translations. “We have tied every person’s destiny to his effort.”

Meaning: your destiny is shaped by your own effort. That Allah cannot decree destiny as He wills. Whatever you want, whatever you strive for, Allah must write that. He is obliged to write it... So who is the god here, you or Allah? By the meaning you give, I swear, you are the "god". It’s not what Allah wills that happens, but what you will, according to this translation!

It’s not like that, brothers and sisters. Such a translation is heretical. Anyone who believes this, by Allah, should renew their faith. That person’s belief in destiny is corrupted. A person’s destiny is tied to what Allah has decreed.

But since we do not know our destiny, we must follow the Sharia. We will do what Allah commands us to do and refrain from what He forbids. Because we do not know the outcome. Our duty is to follow the Sharia. But Allah, He knows the result, the middle, the beginning, what comes before it and what comes after it. Everything.

Therefore, to translate this verse as “We tied a person’s destiny to his effort” is disbelief. They even made a picture and placed this verse on that picture. Some of our brothers even use it as a profile image. This is deviance. If you have something like this, abandon it immediately. Repent and seek forgiveness. Say, “O Lord, I believe as You want me to believe,” and ask Allah’s forgiveness.

Such a belief is only a Mutazilite belief, a belief of those who deny destiny or give destiny a meaning other than what it truly is. Such a belief is never the belief of Ahl al-Sunnah, nor the belief of the Messenger of Allah or his Companions.

The only way to repel their aggression is by returning to the deen of Allah, through doing what the Prophet (SAW) and his Companions did to them. This is the only language they understand.

It is narrated from Aws ibn Aws (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:

“On Friday, send many blessings upon me, for your blessings are presented to me.”

“There will be five eras:

The Era of Bliss (the Prophet’s time)

The Era of Caliphate

The Era of Kingship

The Era of Tyranny (the era of enemies)

Then an era will come following the Prophetic way then Messenger of Allah fell silent.”
