#TOP: A senior medical professional has told this newspaper that some nurses within the National Capital District Provincial Health Authority are charging patients up to K20 for writing a referral note for a patient.
Dr Glen Mola said this after attending to a female patient who was referred to the Port Moresby General Hospital Gynaecology Clinic and noticed that many nurses are charging patients K10 or K20 for writing that simple referral note.

This is a historic moment in our country seeing first vehicles drove from Alotau to Port Moresby. They left 11:50am in Alotau and arrived at Port Moresby at 10am.
This is our gift to our people on the 50th anniversary of our country.
