📕Anju Bobby George : Crowned Woman of the Year by World Athletics

Legendary Indian athlete, Anju Bobby George has been bestowed with the Woman of the Year Award by World Athletics for grooming talent in the country and for her advocacy of gender equality. In 2016, she formed a sports academy for young girls. Through this, she has helped India advance in sports and also inspire more women to follow in her footsteps.

महान भारतीय एथलीट, अंजू बॉबी जॉर्ज को देश में प्रतिभा को संवारने और लैंगिक समानता की वकालत करने के लिए वर्ल्ड एथलेटिक्स द्वारा वुमन ऑफ द ईयर अवार्ड  से सम्मानित किया गया है। 2016 में, उन्होंने युवा लड़कियों के लिए एक खेल अकादमी बनाई। इसके माध्यम से, उन्होंने भारत को खेलों में आगे बढ़ने में मदद की है और अधिक महिलाओं को भी उनके नक्शेकदम पर चलने के लिए प्रेरित किया है। उन्हें लैंगिक समानता की वकालत करने के लिए पुरस्कार से भी सम्मानित किया गया है.

📕Naoroji: Pioneer of Indian Nationalism’ by Dinyar Patel wins NIF Book Prize 2021

A biography titled ‘Naoroji: Pioneer of Indian Nationalism’, authored by Dinyar Patel and published by Harvard University Press selected as the winner of the 4th Kamaladevi Chattopadhyay NIF (New India Foundation) Book Prize 2021. The bookmarked the life events and legacy of Dada Bhai Naoroji. It also contains the historical background of India’s National Movement during the 19th century.

📕दिनयार पटेल की 'नौरोजी: पायनियर ऑफ इंडियन नेशनलिज्म' ने एनआईएफ बुक प्राइज 2021 जीता

दिनयार पटेल  द्वारा लिखित और हार्वर्ड यूनिवर्सिटी प्रेस द्वारा प्रकाशित 'नौरोजी: पायनियर ऑफ इंडियन नेशनलिज्म ' शीर्षक वाली जीवनी को चौथे कमलादेवी चट्टोपाध्याय एनआईएफ (न्यू इंडिया फाउंडेशन) बुक प्राइज 2021 के विजेता के रूप में चुना गया। दादा भाई नौरोजी  के जीवन की घटनाओं और विरासत को बुकमार्क किया। इसमें 19वीं शताब्दी के दौरान भारत के राष्ट्रीय आंदोलन की ऐतिहासिक पृष्ठभूमि भी शामिल है।

📕Gita Gopinath to replace Okamoto as IMF’s No. 2 official

International Monetary Fund Chief Economist, Gita Gopinath is set to take over from Geoffrey Okamoto as the institution’s No. 2 official. It is going to be a historic movement when International Monetary Fund has the female at its first two leading positions. 

📕गीता गोपीनाथ आईएमएफ के नंबर 2 अधिकारी के रूप में ओकामोटो की जगह लेंगी

अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मुद्रा कोष की मुख्य अर्थशास्त्री, गीता गोपीनाथ  संस्थान के नंबर 2 अधिकारी के रूप में जेफ्री ओकामोटो  से पदभार ग्रहण करने के लिए तैयार हैं। यह एक ऐतिहासिक पल होने जा रहा है जब अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मुद्रा कोष के पहले दो प्रमुख पदों पर महिलाएँ होंगी। आईएमएफ ने फंड की वरिष्ठ प्रबंधन टीम की भूमिकाओं और जिम्मेदारियों में कुछ बदलाव किए हैं। जिसमें उन्होंने पहली बार डिप्टी मैनेजिंग डायरेक्टर का परिचय दिया और यह भारतीय मूल की अर्थशास्त्री गीता गोपीनाथ नाम की पहली महिला को गया।

📕Cyclone Jawad to hit Odisha, Andhra and West Bengal

The low-pressure area in the Bay of Bengal is expected to intensify into Cyclone Jawad which is likely to reach the north Andhra Pradesh, south Odisha coasts and Some parts of West Bengal. The storm, once developed, will be called Jawad (pronounced Jowad), as named by Saudi Arabia. After Yaas in May and Gulab in September, this will be the third cyclone headed towards the east coast this year.

📕चक्रवात जवाद ओडिशा, आंध्र और पश्चिम बंगाल से टकराएगा

बंगाल की खाड़ी में कम दबाव का क्षेत्र तेज होकर चक्रवाती तूफान जवाद (Jawad) में बदल सकता है, जिसके उत्तरी आंध्र प्रदेश, दक्षिण ओडिशा के तटों और पश्चिम बंगाल के कुछ हिस्सों तक पहुंचने की संभावना है। एक बार विकसित होने वाले तूफान को जवाद (उच्चारण जोवद) कहा जाएगा, जैसा कि सऊदी अरब द्वारा नामित किया गया है। मई में यास (Yaas) और सितंबर में गुलाब (Gulab) के बाद, इस साल पूर्वी तट की ओर बढ़ने वाला यह तीसरा चक्रवात होगा।
