Dear Community,
After our mainnet launch is complete and the protocol is fully functional, Lendefi will begin transitioning the management structure into a DAO. This transition will deliver control of key protocol functions, such as the treasury, to owners of LDFI tokens. ⭐️

Lendefi is proud to announce the imminent launch of our testnet to the public. We’ve been working closely with our developers Blockchain Labs Asia (BLABS) to expedite this milestone. 🏆

We have concluded our internal testing and are now in the final process of transitioning the infrastructure into a new environment for the public testnet. Once this is complete, we can open Lendefi’s testnet for volunteer testing. ✅

All funds are safe insofar at this time.
As a security precaution the bridge has been turned off.
We are currently waiting on an incident report from Blockchain Labs Asia (Blabs).
Please give us time to fully investigate this matter.
This will not impact the Protocol Testnet going public.

The previous update we incorrectly stated that there was unauthorised access to the bridge contract.
Hotcross confirmed that the bridge contracts are 100% safe and have not been access in any way whatsoever;
The validator address, which is controlled by the LDFI team (Blockchain Labs Asia), was accessed;
Hotcross and their technologies have not been compromised.
We will provide a more detailed update after the incident report from Blockchain Labs Asia (Blabs).

Dear Community,
We have received an incident report from Blockchain Labs Asia regarding yesterday’s incident.
An unauthorised minting of tokens occurred as the result of an information leak of the validator address, which is controlled by the LDFI team (Blockchain Labs Asia).
Since then, the initial issue has been resolved to ensure that no new tokens can be minted. Lendefi’s bridge has also been turned off until further notice.
We are currently completing an internal deep-dive investigation and will deliver a detailed factual report to the community once this is completed.

Chainsulting are Germany’s “leading experts” in Distributed Ledger and Digital Assets. Their track record spans 4 years and over 150 clients. The clients of Chainsulting have included 1inch, Unicrypt and DIA. 🥇
Chainsulting will oversee Lendefi’s mainnet deployment and ensure that best security practices are followed for the security of the Lendefi protocol. 🔐

Lendefi has set a deadline of two weeks to achieve a full resolution of the incident. 📆
The Lendefi bridge will remain closed until further notice. 🔒
Lendefi is currently in the final cycle of our testnet process and we are proud to announce that we will launch our canary Mainnet by the end of this month! 🌟
