Saturday special
The past few weeks, my fyp on TikTok constantly started introducing me to my now favorite influencer and icon Bayush Abebe. Bayush is the perfect mix of all the generations that coexist under this blue sphere. As all human beings, she has lived and suffered but also sustained. Her decree and humor, her philosophical annotations, and unwavering confidence makes her enjoyable and consequentially— unique. Bayush resides in a 4D world where time can be twisted and a person can age backwards. She is more than a TikTok star but an activist, a philosophical mind, an analytical observer, a comic genius, a music enthusiast and above all— an undeniable human.

The past few months I have been experimenting.
Whenever I am in public spaces alone, sitting on park benches and bus seats, I immediately stand up and change places whenever a white person sits near me. I intentionally sit in their eyesight and make undecipherable racist facial expressions and eye contacts. I find it interesting to see their reactions so blatantly displayed on their faces, like how we would react if we saw a dog walking around a person on a leash.
How beautiful is Martin’s dream.
