Ten Hag asked whether he's underachieved or overachieved:

"No team can't deal with so many injuries, I think we played to maximum levels if you take in respect the availability of the players, we missed so many key players over the part of the season..."
Ten Hag: "The performances we have seen when the players are available in January and February the performances are very good. When the players were not even fit they could do even better."
🎙️ | Ten Hag on injuries again: "It tells that we are in the right direction. So imagine we had many more players available and not setbacks and injuries, could easily have 75 wins, and that tells the bright future of this team..."
Ten Hag: "When you compare it with other managers, other teams, or previous managers in this big club, you can see there is a bright future. It is a good balance of ages in this squad. Young players, middle aged players, imagine when they are available, could easily have won from 100 games 75. It is a big difference with the stats you mentioned."

Sir Jim Ratcliffe has assembled a new task force led by Sebastian Coe, to explore the potential creation of a new stadium for Manchester United, with help from Gary Neville & Andy Burnham. #MUFC
Lord Sebastian Coe on heading a task force to explore the building of a new Old Trafford:

“Throughout my career in sport, I have seen the potential for stadiums to become focal points for strong communities and catalysts for social and economic development.

"That was certainly true of the venues we built in east London for the 2012 Olympics, and we are overdue a project of similar scale and ambition in the north of England.

"I am honoured to have this opportunity to share my experience in support of this tremendously exciting project.”

Gary Neville:

“I’m incredibly fortunate to have had the privilege of playing hundreds of games at Old Trafford, and no one can take away those amazing memories.

"But Old Trafford has evolved throughout its history and it’s clear we are at a point where it has to change again to ensure that Manchester United has a world-class stadium befitting the world’s greatest club.

"While I want the best for #mufc, I also want the same for the surrounding community. Old Trafford should be a stadium that the whole of Greater Manchester can take pride in, and be a catalyst for sustainable, cohesive growth in an area of the city that has been neglected for too long.”

Sir Jim Ratcliffe:

“This can be a major regeneration project for an area of Greater Manchester which has played such a key role in British industrial history, but which today requires new investment to thrive again.

"The north-west of England has a greater concentration of major football clubs than anywhere else in the world, yet we don’t have a stadium on the scale of Wembley, the Nou Camp or the Bernabéu.

"We will not be able to change that on our own, which is why this task force is so important to help us seize this once-in-a-century opportunity.”

Andy Burnham, Mayor of Greater Manchester:

"The development of one of the most iconic stadiums in world football will help attract investment, create jobs, and lead to new opportunities that will not just benefit Trafford but communities across our city-region and beyond.

"Greater Manchester has been a hive of innovation and creativity for centuries, and sport has played a huge role in shaping our past and present. This bold and exciting vision for the future of Old Trafford and the surrounding area can become another success story for our city-region."
🚨 | BREAKING:

Tyrell Malacia could miss the entirety of the season for #mufc. He reported for preseason with a knee problem that required an operation and he was scheduled to return in January but suffered a setback that required a 2nd round of surgery. [Samuel Luckhurst, MEN]
Ten Hag: "I think it's going to be difficult for him this season to be available. He will fight, he's back on the pitch, but not in the team and the process had some setbacks for him and he's still going forwards really slowly and the season is coming to an end."
Ten Hag on Sergio Reguilon leaving #mufc: “They [medical staff] assured me they [Shaw and Malacia] will both be fit in January, and so you will have two left full-backs. Then you have a third one, so I would always have to disappoint one full-back."
#MUFC XI vs Everton: Onana, Dalot, Varane, Evans, Lindelof, Casemiro, Mainoo, McTominay, Fernandes, Garnacho, Rashford.
🚨 | #mufc SUBS: Bayindir, Mee, Kambwala, Ogunneye, Amrabat, Collyer, Eriksen, Amad, Antony.
