It is not a matter of you loving Allah;

Rather, the matter is that Allah loves you.

Even The Jinn Would Fear Imaam Ahmad

A crazed girl was brought to al-Wathiq, so, he said:

“Send her to Ahmad bin Hanbal.”

When she was brought to Ahmad, they asked him:

“Please cure this crazed girl for us!”

So, he began to speak to the jinni that had possessed this girl, saying:

“Get out of this girl! Get out of this girl!”

But it didn’t come out. He continued, saying:

“Get out, or I’ll (and Ahmad began to threaten the jinni),”

and the jinni came out, saying:

“O Ahmad! You feared Allah, so, everything is afraid of you! You feared Allah, so, everything is afraid of you!”

The jinni waited until Ahmad bin Hanbal eventually died, and it returned to possess the girl once again. So, they brought the girl to a shaykh – who, as it was said, is more like us than Ahmad bin Hanbal – and he began to speak to the jinni, saying:

“Get out, or I’ll…”

Suddenly, the jinni began to laugh, saying:

“Ahmad bin Hanbal has died; Ahmad bin Hanbal has died…”

The Prophet (ﷺ) said:

“Have no love for the dunya, and Allah will Love you. Have no love for what is with the people, and the people will love you.“

The Early Muslims Only Feared Allāh

It was said to ‘Aamir bin Abd-Qais: Indeed you spend your night outdoors, don’t you fear lions?

He replied: Indeed, I feel ashamed from my Lord, that I should fear anything other than Him.

[Siyar a'lam an-Nubala (v. 4, p. 17)]

the takbeerat has started , from today till the last day of the days of tashreeq, there is glad tidings from the prophet for every person who says the takbeer and tahleel.

the prophet ﷺ said: there is no person who says tahleel and takbeer except for he has been given glad tidings, it was said o messenger of Allaah with Jannah? he ﷺ said: yes.

How to make your children pray on their own without quarrel or a reminder

My Daughter was 12 years old and prayer was like heavy burden on her, So I told her to pray one day and I monitored her. She took the carpet and threw it on the ground. I asked her if she prayed - she said yes - Believe me, without feeling I slapped her face - I know I made a mistake. The situation has troubled me and I cried and I repent to God to forgive me.. The slap, the talk, the reminders did not make a difference to my child.

One day A friend told me a story. She went to one of her friends for a visit. Her friend was not very religious, but when the Adhan prayer was called, her children rushed for prayers without reminders or quarrel. I said to her how do your children pray by themselves without quarrel or a reminder? !!! - She said, before I got married I used to pray this Du'a and stil pray it today.

After she told me the Du'a – I began to recite it in every Sujood in my prayers and anytime I could. Since I began to recite the Du'a my daughter is now the first to prayer without reminders or quarrels. She gets up for Fajr prayers without any alarms. And all her brothers are now eager in praying without any difficulties.

I know You are now eager to know this Supplication, this beautiful #Dua..

The Supplication is in the Surah Ibrahim [14], ayah #40
And the Supplication is...

[14:40] O my Lord! make me one who establishes regular Prayer, and also (raise such) among my offspring O our Lord! and accept Thou my Prayer.

Start today, do not wait until you get married and until you have kids - prevention is better then cure.

Dua’ Is Answered on Wednesdays Between Dhuhr
And asr
.

“Jabir Ibn ‘Abdullah  رضي الله عنه said, “ The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) supplicated to Allâah in this Masjid (Masjid Al-Fath) on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. His dua was answered on Wednesday between the prayers of Dhuhr and Asr. Jabir  رضي الله عنه said,” There wasn’t anything that was crucially important for me to have solved, except I called on Allah during that hour of the day between Dhuhr and Asr knowing He would answer.”

Graded Hasan by Shaykh Al-Albani رحمه الله in Saheeh Adab Al-Mufrad.

Shaykh Hussain Awayaasha حفظه الله said in his explanation of Saheeh Adab Al-Mufrad.“The Messenger of Allâah (ﷺ) supplicated to Allâah in this Masjid(Masjid Al-Fath )on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday”

Masjid Al-Fath: is a Masjid located on the eastside at the top of a mountain stump. A person can ascend to this Masjid by two routes; one on the east and the other on the north side. This is the general meaning of Masjid al-Fath. It has also been said that Masjid Al-Fath is Masjid Ahzab or a Masjid on High ground. [ Fadl 2/174]

“His dua was answered on Wednesday between the prayers of Dhuhr and Asr” .

Shaykh Al-Albani رحمه الله commented on this saying: "If this companion wouldn’t have narrated to us that the prophet (ﷺ) made Dua to Allâah during this hour we wouldn’t have known. The person present witnesses what the absent person doesn’t. This ahadeeth has significant meaning; since Jabir narrated the information when exactly his dua was answered. And this shows that the Dua for the Messenger (ﷺ) was answered at that hour during Wednesday. Consequently Jabir began to do that same thing he saw Muhammad (ﷺ) do on Wednesday between Dhuhr and Asr. "

End of Quote from the book.

Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله (728H) said in his book Iqtida as-Siraat al-Mustaqeem (1/433)

”A group of our companions and other people act by this hadeeth. They see to it that they call on Allah during this time; as narrated by Jabir The place where Jabir made Dua to Allah isn’t mentioned, but the time period in which he did is mentioned."

Translated by Aboo Aaliyah Abdullah Ibn Dwight.
Shaykh Al-Islām Ibn Taymiyyah (رحمه الله) said,

"There are three things that push the hearts towards Allah, and they are love, fear and hope. The strongest of these three is love..."

Ask Allāh With Certainty

Turning Away From Allah Causes Misery

Ibn al-Qayyim said:

“When a person spends his entire day with no other concern but Allah alone, Allah, may He be glorified, will take care of all his needs and take care of all that is worrying him; He will empty his heart so that it will be filled only with love for Him, free his tongue so that it will speak only in remembrance of Him (dhikr) and cause all his faculties to work only in obedience to Him.

But if a person spends his entire day with no other concern but this world, Allah will make him bear its distress, anxiety and pain; He will leave him to sort himself out, and cause his heart to be distracted from the love of Allah towards the love of some created being, cause his tongue to speak only in remembering people instead of remembering Allah, and cause him to use his talents and energy in obeying and serving them. So he will strive hard, labouring like some work-animal, to serve something other than Allah… Everyone who turns away from being a true slave of Allah and obeying Him and loving Him will be burdened with servitude, love and obedience to some created being.

Allah says (interpretation of the meaning): ‘And whosoever turns away (blinds himself) from the remembrance of the Most Beneficent (Allah), We appoint for him a shaytaan (devil) to be a qareen (intimate companion) to him.’

Shaykh ibn ‘Uthaymīn رحمه الله said,

Beauty and ugliness is a reflection of the heart

Shaykh al-Islām ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله said:

Goodness and beauty are due to righteous actions, they are found in the heart and then manifest upon the face.

Ugliness and repulsiveness are due to corrupt actions, they are found in the heart and then manifest upon the face.

Both of these matters then increase depending on one’s righteous – or evil – actions.

When piety and righteousness increase, beauty and goodness are strengthened; when sins and transgression increase, ugliness and repulsiveness become more manifest.

This continues to the extent that a person’s physical beauty or ugliness is removed and changed [depending on one’s good or bad actions].

How many people do not have a beautiful appearance, however, due to righteous actions, their beauty and handsome essence appears, until this physically manifests in their appearance. We see the faces of the people of Sunnah and obedience, the more they age, the more beautiful and handsome they appear, to the extent that some of them are more handsome in their old age than their youth.

And we find the faces of the people of innovation and sinning, the more they age, the more ugly they appear. And this clearly manifests in all people who have severe innovations and evil, such as the Rāfidah (Shia), the people of oppression, the people of immorality etc…
