We were made aware that players have lost $DAR and we are already investigating the issue. In the meantime, please take the necessary precautions to secure your wallets and refrain from connecting to the game, our website first, or any websites that require you to transact with $DAR token.

We are very sorry for the inconvenience and we kindly ask for your patience as we investigate further on this matter.

To everyone who has lost their $DAR, please send a report in our Discord, provide the link of the transaction from your compromised wallet, and narrate what you did exactly before your DAR got lost. Thank you for your cooperation.

Please be informed that after further investigation, we have identified the issue.

Moreover, we have tracked all affected wallets via blockchain. Hence, we will now be closing any open tickets related to this case. We will keep everyone updated with any relevant information, including our refund policy, appropriate resolutions, and action plans, through official announcement(s) later today.

There was no exploit in the code. However, the attacker was able to compromise a developer's wallet and, based on that, was able to create an exploit affecting only our Marketplace contract. We managed to gain back control. Therefore, no more $DAR tokens can be drained out from it or from any of our other contracts.

For the time being, we are going to put the Marketplace for maintenance.

Nevertheless, playing the game is completely fine and out of risk, as the compromised wallet didn’t have access to our gaming contracts.

We are receiving reports about NFTs listed in the marketplace being lost, and we want to inform everyone that we are aware and are currently investigating.
 
The exploit from a few days ago targeted both $DAR tokens and NFTs. So, we want to assure everyone that we will also have a refund policy for the stolen NFTs.
 
We understand that this news may be concerning for many of our players, but rest assured, our team is working diligently to rectify the issue and implement measures to prevent similar situations from occurring in the future.

Dear Dalarnians,

To follow up on our latest announcement regarding the lost NFTs, we are pleased to inform you that we have successfully retrieved all the stolen NFTs from the scammer's wallet except 6 of them which were already sold in the market. However, please be assured that our team is discussing ways to recover or replace them, one way or another.

Our developers have set up a new wallet to hold the recovered NFTs, and we are now in the process of identifying the rightful owners so we can eventually return the NFTs to their respective accounts.

We understand how valuable these NFTs are to our players, and we want to assure you that we are doing everything in our power to ensure that they are returned to their rightful owners as soon as possible, including reimbursing the stolen $DAR tokens to all affected players.

We would like to thank our players for their patience and understanding during this process.

Again, we understand that incidents like this can be concerning, but we want to assure you that we are taking steps to prevent similar situations from occurring in the future. As announced, this update disconnects the game client from the current NFTs, allowing players to use them in-game and off-chain only.

🎮 Installing the new client is required to continue playing.

In #MoD's Update 1.3 Astrolab, the difficulty will ramp up with each level, and you'll encounter fiercer monsters & harder to dig rocks.
