A person went to heaven. He looked around and saw that everyone was walking happily, joyfully, and kindly. Everything looked like in ordinary life. He walked around, enjoyed it, and said to the archangel:

They went to hell. The person looked around, and at first glance, everything seemed the same as in heaven: the same ordinary life, but the people were all angry, offended, and it was clear they were unhappy. He asked the archangel:

— It seems like everything is the same as in heaven! Why are they all so unhappy? 😞

— Because they think heaven is better. 💭

More than money 💰✨

A businessman was deep in debt and saw no way out. Creditors were pressuring him. Suppliers demanded payment. He sat on a park bench, head down, wondering what could save his company from bankruptcy.

Suddenly, an old man appeared before him.

🔹 *“I see something is troubling you,”* the man said.

After listening to the businessman’s troubles, the old man replied:

🔹 *“I believe I can help you.”*

He asked for the businessman’s name, wrote a check, and handed it to him.

🔹 *“Take this money. Let’s meet here exactly one year from now, and you can return it then.”*

Then he turned and disappeared as quickly as he had come.

The businessman looked at the check—$500,000, signed by *John D. Rockefeller*, one of the richest men in the world at the time!

💡 *“I can solve all my problems in an instant!”* he thought. But instead, he decided to lock the check away in his safe. Just knowing it was there gave him the confidence to find a way to save his business.

With renewed optimism, he made better deals and secured big contracts. Within months, he was out of debt and making money again.

Exactly a year later, he returned to the park with the check. Right on time, the old man appeared. As the businessman was about to return the check and share his success story, a nurse ran up and grabbed the old man.

🔹 *“Oh, I’m so glad I caught him!”* she exclaimed. *“I hope he didn’t bother you. He always escapes from the care home, telling people he’s John D. Rockefeller.”*

The businessman stood in shock. For a whole year, he had worked tirelessly, making deals and growing his business—believing he had half a million dollars.

At that moment, he realized it wasn’t the money, real or imagined, that changed his life. It was the confidence it gave him—the belief that he *could* succeed. And that made all the difference. 🚀💡

One of the disciples asked Buddha:

— If someone hits me, what should I do?

— If a dry branch falls from a tree and hits you, what will you do? — Buddha replied.

— What will I do? It’s just a simple coincidence that I was under the tree when the branch fell, — said the disciple.

Then Buddha remarked:

— So do the same. Someone was foolish and angry and hit you — it's the same as a branch falling on your head. Let it not trouble you, go on your way as if nothing happened. 🌿💫
