The Red Rose πΉ
An American sailor received letters from a woman he had never seen. Her name was Rosa. They corresponded for three years. By reading her letters and replying, he realized that he could no longer live without them. They had fallen in love with each other without even realizing it. πβ€οΈ
When his service ended, they arranged to meet at the Central Station at five o'clock in the evening. She wrote that she would have a red rose in her lapel. πΉ
The sailor wondered: he had never seen a photo of Rosa. He didn't know how old she was, whether she was beautiful or plain, thin or heavy. π€
He arrived at the station, and when the clock struck five, she appeared. A woman with a red rose in her lapel. She was about sixty years old. The sailor could have turned around and left, but he didn't. This woman had written to him all that time while he was at sea, sent him Christmas gifts, and supported him. She didnβt deserve that. So he approached her, extended his hand, and introduced himself. π
The woman told him that he was mistaken. Rosa was standing behind him. He turned around and saw her. She was the same age as him, beautiful. The elderly lady explained that Rosa had asked her to put the flower in her lapel. If the sailor had turned around and left, it would have been the end. But if he had approached the elderly lady, she would have shown him the real Rosa and told him the truth. ππ

Parable of the traveler and three stonemasons π§
One traveler stumbled upon a construction site and saw three stonemasons. He approached the first:
β What are you doing?
β Carrying this heavy stone. Day after day. Work is work.
The traveler approached the second:
β And what are you doing?
β Earning a living. I have a family, children, need to feed them.
And finally, he asked the third:
β And what are you doing?
The third straightened his shoulders and proudly replied:
β I am building a temple.
They all have the same work, but different meaning.
Itβs not what you do that defines you. Itβs why you do it. π

Parable of the cup of patience β³
Once upon a time, there was a sage to whom people came every day with complaints. One spoke of poverty, another of injustice, the third of envy. The sage silently listened to everyone, saying nothing.
One day, the disciple could not bear it any longer:
β Master, why do you never give advice? People come for help!
The sage filled a cup with water to the brim and said:
β Carry it through the whole city and don't spill a single drop.
The disciple returned, not once diverting his attention.
β What did you see on the way? β asked the sage.
β Nothing. I kept all my attention on the cup.
β This is how people are: as long as the cup of their soul is full of worries, they won't hear a single piece of advice. First, you need to empty the excess in order to take in the new.π―

Parable of the Farmer and Luck π¨π»βπΎ
There was an old farmer. His horse ran away. The neighbors said:
β What a disaster!
He replied:
β We'll see.
The next day, the horse returned, bringing three wild horses with it.
The neighbors said:
β What a blessing!
β We'll see, β replied the farmer.
The son tried to tame one of the wild horses, fell, and broke his leg.
The neighbors said:
β What a misfortune!
β We'll see, β replied the farmer.
A week later, soldiers came to take the young men to war β but they didn't take the son.
The neighbors said:
β How lucky you are!
β We'll see, β said the farmer.
Moral: Never be quick to judge what happens. Sometimes behind a "misfortune" lies a gift from fate.π

The parable of the three old men πβ€οΈπ°π
A woman came out of her house and saw three old men with long white beards sitting in her yard.
She didnβt know them but said:
β You must be hungry. Please, come into the house and have something to eat.
β Is your husband home? β they asked.
β No, heβs not, β she replied.
β Then we cannot come in, β they said.
That evening, when her husband came home, she told him what had happened.
β Go and tell them Iβm home now and invite them in! β he said.
The woman went out and invited the old men.
β We cannot come into the house together, β they replied.
β Why not? β she asked, surprised.
One of the old men explained:
β His name is Wealth, β he said, pointing to one of his friends.
β That one is Success, β he said, pointing to the other.
β And I am Love.
Then he added:
β Now go back and talk with your husband about which of us you want in your home.
The woman went back and told her husband. He was delighted:
β How wonderful! If we have to choose, letβs invite Wealth! Let him fill our home with riches!
β Darling, why not invite Success instead? β his wife suggested.
Their adopted daughter, who had been listening quietly, ran up to them and said:
β Why not invite Love? Then our home will be filled with love!
β Letβs agree with our little girl β the husband said. β Go out and invite Love to be our guest.
The woman went out and asked:
β Which one of you is Love? Please come in and be our guest.
Love got up and began walking toward the house. The other two old men got up and followed him.
Surprised, the woman asked Wealth and Success:
β I only invited Love. Why are you coming in?
The old men replied:
β If you had invited Wealth or Success, the other two of us would have stayed outside. But when you invite Love, we always come along. Wherever there is Love, there is also Wealth and Success! β€οΈπ β¨
