Earth Hour
Earth Hour is an annual international event by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF).
It is celebrated across major cities of the world on the last Saturday of March annually at the 8.30pm to 9.30pm time slot in a given local time zone to pledge support for protecting the environment.
It urges households and businesses to turn off non-essential lights and electrical appliances for one hour at the appointed time to raise awareness towards the need to take action on climate change.
