Shaykh Mahmud al-Sabbagh passed away early this morning in Damascus, Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un.

He took care of the Masjid and resting place of Shaykh al-Akbar Muhi al-Din ibn Arabi for over 50 years and was dear to many of the Ulamah and Awliya. May Allah have mercy upon him.
