Allahu Akbar. Death is at our door and all of us will taste it, sooner rather than later. Our dear Shaykh Abdullah Kamel has passed on to the mercy of Allah in his sleep after leading Salah in Jersey City. For the people of Quran, as Shaykh Abdullah was, death is a celebration, a reunion with the One whose Words were constantly celebrated in this life.
اللهم اغفر له وارحمه وعافه واعف عنه وأكرم نزله ووسع مدخله

طيران #القاهرة (#إير_كايرو) يسمح للشيخ #عبدالله_كامل بقراءة القرآن في الإذاعة الداخليّة للطائرة في آخر رحلة له كانت متّجهة إلى #جدّة ثمّ إلى #أمريكا لصلاة التراويح والتهجّد.

Thank you SBIA for the viewing of the Kiswa…(the cloth that covers the Ka’ba) in Mecca….

The Kiswa is changed every year on the 9th of Dhul Hajj while Hajj pilgrims are in Arafat. This one was purchased by the Guiding Light (Quran institute) and is now on display.

*5 times in my life in Mecca (and Medina) isn’t enough and if I can still get close somehow I’m there….🥰😍

I was in taxi in Madinah and noticed that the driver was a young, clean shaven man. Despite that he was repeatedly doing dhikr. He also requested some silence till he was done with his all the adhkār.

I asked him:

May I ask as to what fruits you see in your day to day life as a result of these adhkār? Have you seen special bounties from Allah in return for these adhkār?

His reply was:

Whomsoever thinks in this manner is a trader, not a slave. A trader gives only to wait in expectation to get a greater return, whereas a slave is a servant carrying out his role; if he receives anything from his Master, he thanks Him.

Advice:

Your level of humility determines the extent of how much kindness you receive.

𝟗 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞 & 𝐁𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐔𝐩𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐞𝐭 ‎ﷺ

1. You are following the way of Allah (swt) and command and His Honorable Angels.

إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَمَلَائِكَتَهُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ۚ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا صَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُوا تَسْلِيمًا

Indeed, Allah confers blessing upon the Prophet, and His angels [ask Him to do so]. O you who have believed, ask [ Allah to confer] blessing upon him and ask [ Allah to grant him] peace. [33:56]

2. “Allah has angels who go around on earth, conveying to me the salam of my ummah.” [Sunan Nasaa’i]

3. “There is not one of you who sends his greetings upon me except that Allah returns the soul to my body (in the grave) and I return his greeting.” [Abu Dawood]

4. “Whoever supplicates Allah to exalt my mention (i.e., send salah), Allah will exalt his mention (i.e., send salah) ten times and remove from him ten sins and raise him ten degrees.” [Muslim]

5. AbdurRahman ibn Awf (ra) said, I came to the Prophet (ﷺ) while he was in prostration and he elongated his prostration and then said, “Jibreel came to me and he said, ‘whoever sends blessings (salah) upon you, I will send blessings on him, and whoever sends greetings (salaam) upon you, I will send greetings upon him,’ so I prostrated out of thankfulness to Allah.’” [Hakim, Saheeh Al-Albani]

6. “Dua is suspended between heaven and earth and none of it is taken up until you send blessings upon your Prophet (ﷺ).” [At-Tirmidhi]

7. “May his nose soil with dust in whose presence mention is made of me and he does not supplicate for me.” [At-Tirmidhi] “The miser is the one in whose presence I am mentioned but he does not supplicate for me.” [At-Tirmidhi]

8. “The people who will be nearest to me on the Day of Resurrection will be those who supplicate Allah more often for me.” [At-Tirmidhi] Imam Nawawi rahimahullah states, “Nearest to me” signifies “those who are most entitled to my intercession”.

9. “The people who will be nearest to me on the Day of Resurrection will be those who supplicate Allah more often for me.” [At-Tirmidhi]

May Allah have mercy upon this great man who served Madinah and the people of Madinah for over 45 years. He sat in the same place for decades and gave tea and refreshments to the lovers of Rasulallah ﷺ - and Allah spread his name and his love across the earth and to every nation.

Rasulallah ﷺ said the most beloved to people Allah are those who serve other and they were the closest to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in his blessed time. May Allah make Hajj Isma'il the closest of people to the Beloved on the Final Day and allow him to be from the first to drink from the water of al-Kawthar from the blessed hands of Sayyiduna Muhammad ﷺ. We pray that Allah honours with him countless rivers of milk and honey in Jannah for the sake of every visitor he brought joy and happiness to.
