Statement on Not Guilty verdict of Bloody Sunday Killer Soldier F

Today, 23 October 2025, former British paratrooper David James Cleary (alias: Soldier F) has been found not guilty and absolved of his direct role in murdering two Irish civilians and attempting to murder five more during the 1972 Bloody Sunday Massacre carried out by the British Parachute Regiment.

The National Party condemns this disgusting result from the Belfast Crown Court.

Far from serving justice for the families of James Wray, William McKinney as well as those who survived, this judgement has only served as a reminder that the British state will always protect its own.

We can sadly see that once the mask of British parliamentary democracy drops, we are left with the truth of the ruthlessly totalitarian state apparatus, prepared to dispense with any and all morality and decency in their effort to maintain occupation.

Justice for the victims of the British state while under the terror of the British state is an impossibility.

The only way justice will ever be seen on this island is through the rollback of partition and the final realisation of a 32 county Irish Republic.

Only through Irish unity can these open wounds be healed, and our nation be made whole.

Historic Spoilt Vote Surge a Kick Up the Áras for the Regime

The National Party expresses its gratitude to all members who participated in the ‘Kick Them Up The Áras’ spoilt vote campaign. It is clear from today’s result that an unprecedented level of spoilt ballots have been cast, this is a clear rejection of this phoney contest and deals a severe blow to the credibility of the regime.

There is no ‘lesser of two evils’ when both candidates act with enmity toward the Irish nation; a significant portion of the electorate have now made this sentiment known. This result would not have been possible without the works of a cohesive activist element.

In the lead-up to the election, National Party members and representatives engaged tirelessly in both online and on-the-ground activism, advocating for the public to spoil their vote in the presidential election. Our ground crew, unparalleled by any other political organisation, played a particularly crucial role in this objective.

Not even ten years ago, the legion of nation-wreckers would jeer at nationalist vote tallies. From election to election, that jeering would soon turn to ambivalence, and now to genuine concern. We can now gauge that there is a double-digit percentage of the population who are convinced that nationalist politics are the only way forward for this country, marking an exponential rise that cannot be attributed to chance or to once-off outbursts of anger.

From its inception, the National Party’s explicit purpose is to be the vehicle of nationalist resistance to the tyranny of liberal and left-wing globalism. The renewed popular energy unleashed in this election must be captured and invested in a competent political party lest it fizzle out and wither away - the National Party will continue to serve that purpose.

Strictly speaking, we may not have won the election, but our performance is proof of the inevitable re-ascendance of nationalist sentiment and the incredible fortitude of our activist base.
