Was asked today my view on 'Restore Britain', the extra-political venture from MP Rupert Lowe:
I then asked myself this question:
WHAT IS ITS ULTIMATE PURPOSE AND IS IT LIKELY TO ACHIEVE IT?
It appears as though the intent is to be a cross-party pressure group designed to campaign for an advance various policies, that the members will 'vote' on in some way.
The truth is, that even though the intentions may be good, what will result is a movement that finds itself with a raft of individually popular policies that have no coherent end goal. Nothing like the National Agenda of the National Rebirth Party will be produced (http://nationalrebirthparty.org.uk), and it will instead be left with a hodgepodge.
It will also provide free licence for people to project their own political ideas and fantasies onto it, further exasperating this problem.
My advice to people would be not to waste time on it, even though the intentions are good. There is nothing that you can't do in it that you can't do in a legitimate political party that actually has a coherent agenda. It's an inherently inferior choice, and one that has no prospect of ever translating any amount of 'support' into actual political power.

Looking back, the founding of the National Rebirth Party was the best decision I made in my political work.
British politics has become ideologically bankrupt. On both the left and the right, these 'new' parties being created are invariably off-brand versions of the thing they splintered from.
On the left, the Workers Party of Britain and Corbyn's new party are discount versions of Labour.
On the right, Reform and Advance UK are discount versions of the Tories or each other.
In the Nationalist sphere, virtually everything post-BNP has been a discount version of that Party.
Even non-Party movements have become lesser versions of something that came before.
With the NRP we have created something genuinely new, that has a complete political programme (nationalrebirthparty.org.uk/agenda) which is unlike anything else, and which offers people a legitimate, genuine alternative to both the international Marxism of Labour and the international capitalism of the Tories.
There is no way of salvaging the fundamentally bankrupt ideologies of the left and the right by rebranding them.
Our National Agenda is the only way.

This is why the entire Conservative sphere, and its orbiting moons like Reform, needs annihilating, and the solution involves their destruction.

We know why people riot and lose control. We know what is ultimately causing the problem.
The real problem descending on us now is anarchy. In a state of anarchy, EVERYONE suffers.
The National Agenda must therefore represent order out of chaos. Our people, on the whole, do not want to live in sectarian communities. They do not want to be afraid of riots, random violence or economic collapse. They want safety, reassurance, and stability.
Therefore, the task of the National Agenda is to provide that stability. Bring order out of chaos. Do not create the anarchy, instead take control of the anarchy and bring it to an end.
If you find yourself in a scene of riot and chaos, make sure you represent order and organisation, not anarchy.

I am commuting to work by train this week, for the first time in a while, due to my car needing work done, which brings the train network as a whole to mind.
The biggest problems for the users of the railway are 1) Ticket prices per mile/hour, and 2) Reliability. It is normal for trains to be delayed due to signal faults, excess rail traffic, and mundane reasons that should have been avoided like not factoring in the time it takes for someone in a wheelchair to leave a train. It is also normal to be paying the most expensive rail fares per mile in Europe.
Both of these problems are caused in a large part by the privatisation of the railways. Every single corporate entity with its own lines has its own profit margins to maintain. Co-ordination between different companies becomes inherently more difficult. The diffusion of responsibility from the state to other people leads to poor management of infrastructure and neglect.
This is why a key part of the National Agenda of the National Rebirth Party (nationalrebirthparty.org.uk/agenda) is the nationalisation of utilities and transport infrastructure.
Demand #16: "We demand that all public utilities and transportation networks be placed into public ownership. The only profits they will take will be those required for future investment."
