A message from journalist Wael Dahdouh after his son Hamza was murdered by Israel.
The proofs from the Book of Allah and Sunnah are very clear with relation to the kufr (disbelief) of one who commits a nullifier (action that expels one from Islam), which can simply be by way of speech or action, without being connected to juhud (denial) or istihlal (making something haram lawful). Verily, such a condition is invalid and was not said by anyone from the Sahabah, Tabi'een or renowned Imams of the Sunnah.

– Shaykh Sulayman al-Alwan
Sending blessings upon the Prophet ﷺ relieves one's worries; helps one pay off debts; and is one of the causes of seeing the Prophet ﷺ in one's dreams, because he mentions him ﷺ frequently, so he sees him.

– Shaykh Sulayman al-Alwan
Nothing authentic has been related concerning the virtue of the month of Rajab, other than it being one of the sacred months. Therefore, it should not be singled out from other months for any particular type of worship, such as Salat al-Ragha'ib, which has no basis. Likewise, there is no authentic narration for the supplication, 'O Allah, bless Rajab and Sha'ban for us, and let us reach Ramadan.'

Note. Salat al-Ragha'ib is an innovation that is practised on the night of the first Jumu'ah (i.e., Thursday night) of Rajab, between Maghrib and Isha.

Imam al-Nawawi said:

The prayer which is known as Salat al-Ragha'ib, which is twelve rak’ahs that are offered between Maghrib and ‘Isha on the night of the first Friday in Rajab, and praying one hundred rak’ahs on the night of Nisf Sha’ban (halfway through Sha’ban) are both reprehensible innovations. No one should be deceived by the fact that they are mentioned in Qut al-Qulub and Ihya ‘Ulum al-Din, or by the hadith which is quoted in these two books, because all of that is false. No one should be deceived by some of those imams who were confused about the ruling on these prayers and wrote essays stating that they are mustahab, for they are mistaken in that. Imam Abu Muhammad ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Isma’il al-Maqdisi wrote a valuable book showing that they are false, and he did well in that, may Allah have mercy on him.”

Al-Majmu’, 3/548
You have a family that loves you, a small number of good friends, food at hand whenever you get hungry, and a roof over your head. Thus, you're richer than you think.
There is no difference, in the Shari'ah of Allah, between the occupier of Muslim lands, the one who helps him, and the supporter and defender of the helper. Allah will say to the angels, “Gather all the wrongdoers along with their peers...” (Al-Saffat, 37:22). That is to say, their helpers.

A few issues relating to the day of Jumu'ah

▪️Using perfume is recommended in general, but for the day of Jumu'ah it is more emphasized.

▪️When the imam supplicates on the day of Jumu'ah, those listening should say "Amin!" covertly, not out loud.

▪️With regard to the prayer after Jumu'ah, whoever wishes to offer it in the masjid should perform four units, and whoever wishes to offer it at home should make it two units.

Shaykh Muhammad 'Atiyyah Salim (‏رحمه الله) said, “I heard the Shaykh (Muhammad al-Ameen ash-Shinqiti), may Allah have mercy on us and him, make the following statement:

‘The Quran will not become firmly established in one’s chest, nor will memorising it become easy, and neither understanding it, except by standing in prayer with it in the depth of the night,’ and he, may Allah have mercy on him, would not leave his set portion of recitation during the night whether in summer or winter.”

The desire for wealth can be good or bad

Ibn Kathir رحمه الله said:

The desire of wealth sometimes results out of arrogance, and the desire to dominate the weak and control the poor, and this conduct is prohibited.

Sometimes, the want for more money is for the purpose of spending it on acts of worship, being kind to the family, the relatives, and spending on various acts of righteousness and obedience; this behaviour is praised and encouraged in the religion.

Who are the men of understanding?

Allah جل وعلا says, “And none receive admonition except men of understanding.” (3:7)

Ibn Kathir رحمه الله said:

Meaning, those who have good minds and sound comprehension, understand, contemplate and comprehend the meaning in the correct manner.
Why Isa was called al-Maseeh (the Messiah)

Isa was called al-Maseeh المسيح because when he touched (مسح) those afflicted with an illness, they would be healed by Allah's leave.

Blessed is He who has placed in the sky great stars and placed therein a [burning] lamp and luminous moon. And it is He who has made the night and the day in succession for whoever desires to remember or desires gratitude. And the servants of the Most Merciful are those who walk upon the earth easily, and when the ignorant address them [harshly], they say [words of] peace. (25:61–63)
Israel has ended its assault on the al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza, because there is nothing left to assault. The facility — the largest medical complex in Gaza where hundreds of civilians had been sheltering — is now an empty, unusable, burnt-out husk. Witnesses report hundreds of corpses in and around the complex, with video footage showing human body parts protruding from the earth and bodies with zip ties on their wrists.

Israel is currently doing its usual song and dance where it claims the hospital was a Hamas headquarters and everyone it killed there was a “terrorist”, but at this point the only people buying that schtick are the ones who desperately need to. This was a massacre of profound savagery. It’s as plain as day to anyone who isn’t deeply invested in pretending otherwise.

Israel, which at the beginning of the Gaza onslaught had adamantly denied that it would ever attack a hospital, has since launched hundreds of documented attacks on Gaza’s healthcare services and has destroyed most of its healthcare system. Just today the director-general of the World Health Organization announced that an Israeli airstrike on Gaza’s al-Aqsa Hospital compound killed four people and injured seventeen.

Oxford University professor Nick Maynard, who spent time working at al-Aqsa Hospital earlier this year, recently accused the IDF of “systematically targeting healthcare facilities, healthcare personnel and really dismantling the whole healthcare system” in Gaza.

“It’s not just about targeting the buildings, it’s about systematically destroying the infrastructure of the hospitals,” says Maynard. “Destroying the oxygen tanks at the al-Shifa hospital, deliberately destroying the CT scanners and making it much more difficult to rebuild that infrastructure. If it was just targeting Hamas militants, why are they deliberately destroying the infrastructure of these institutions?”

Why indeed? If the objective is to target Hamas, why trash the hospital’s medical equipment? If the objective is to target Hamas, why destroy the whole complex and make it unusable as a healthcare facility?

Logically we can only conclude that it isn’t about targeting Hamas at all. It’s about destroying Gaza’s healthcare infrastructure.

Why would Israel want to destroy Gaza’s healthcare infrastructure? The answer to that question has been clear for months: to make the land uninhabitable for the Palestinians. The same reason they’re deliberately starving Gazans, destroying their homes, continually moving them from place to place and bombing every “safe zone” they create.

This is naturally giving rise to a situation in which the inhabitants of Gaza will either die or flee to some other country — which just so happens to be exactly what Israel wants them to do.

It’s so obvious what’s happening here. Painfully obvious. Poke-you-in-the-eyeballs obvious. But we’re still subjected to a western political-media class who keeps forcefully telling us that this blatant ethnic cleansing campaign is not what it looks like. Telling us that all this starvation and destruction and elimination of healthcare services and the way it directly places pressure on the Palestinians to leave their homeland is just a series of coincidences arising from Israel’s “war” of “defense”. That only by pure happenstance does it look exactly the same as the advancement of an agenda that Israelis have sought to advance for generations.

Well I personally am through with having my intelligence insulted, and I hope you are too. The sky is blue, a spade’s a spade, the emperor has no clothes, and Israel is conducting a very obvious ethnic cleansing campaign in Gaza.
