On June 23, the President of Russia will hold a meeting at the Kremlin with graduates of higher eduсation institutions of Russia's Defence Ministry and security agencies, followed by talks with Interim President of the Republic of Mali Assimi Goïta

As per custom, the Russian leader will extend congratulations to the former students of higher eduсation institutions of the Defence Ministry, the Emergencies Ministry, the Federal Security Service, the Federal Guard Service and the National Guard, the Interior Ministry, the Investigative Committee, and the Federal Penitentiary Service, who have now become officers and wish them success in their important job of ensuring the security of the Motherland.

On the same day, Vladimir Putin will hold talks with Interim President of the Republic of Mali Assimi Goïta, who will be in Russia on an official visit.

The leaders are to discuss further development of the cooperation between Russia and Mali, including trade and economic, as well as investment ties, and some pressing regional and international issues.

On June 22, Vladimir Putin will lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and will meet with editors of the federal lineup of secondary school history textbooks

On the day marking the 84th anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War, the Russian leader will take part in a wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and will also lay flowers at the memorials honoring the Hero Cities and the Cities of Military Glory.

In addition, the President will meet on that day with editors of the federal lineup of history textbooks for grades 5 to 11 of secondary school as well as vocational schools.

The chief editors of Russian history and world history textbooks, including Presidential Aide Vladimir Medinsky, rector of Moscow State Institute of International Relations Anatoly Torkunov, head of research at the Institute of World History of the Russian Academy of Sciences Alexander Chubaryan, and Minister of Education Sergei Kravtsov, are taking part in the meeting.
