🇷🇺🇧🇭 Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa

🔹The heads of state had an exchange of views on the outcomes of the St Petersburg International Economic Forum, held on June 18–21 and attended by Bahrain as a guest country. Vladimir Putin made note of the active and productive work by the Bahraini delegation which was led by Personal Representative of His Majesty the King of Bahrain for Philanthropy and Youth Affairs, National Security Advisor Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa. The King of Bahrain thanked the Russian side for a warm welcome. Both leaders confirmed their commitment to developing the Russian-Bahraini mutually beneficial cooperation in trade and economy, investment, and cultural and humanitarian affairs further.

🔹The leaders also discussed the situation in the Middle East and spoke in favour of restoring peace and stability in the region as soon as possible. In this context, Russia's initiative of hosting the first Russia-Arab summit, to be held in Moscow in October, was recognised once again as timely.

Vladimir Putin had a working meeting with Human Rights Commissioner Tatyana Moskalkova

The President received an annual report detailing the development of Russia's human rights protection system. Commissioners pay particular attention to providing assistance to participants in the special military operation and their families.

On June 25, Vladimir Putin will hold a videoconference meeting to discuss the progress in establishing cultural, educational, and museum complexes

Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin and Culture Minister Olga Lyubimova will present reports. The governors of Sevastopol, the Primorye Territory, the Kemerovo Region – Kuzbass and the Kaliningrad Region will detail facilities construction progress in their respective regions.

🔸The leaders discussed the preparations for the upcoming meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council to be held in Minsk.

Today, the President is holding a meeting on the creation of cultural, educational, and museum complexes in Russia

We have been working on this large-scale project since 2018, and it is very important for our people and for Russia's entire cultural landscape. We are creating modern exhibition spaces, art and choreography schools, concert halls, and theatres so that our citizens have more opportunities to get involved in a vibrant and flourishing cultural scene and to take part in interesting cultural events, lectures, and workshops, and so that people, especially young people, are able to receive high-level training in creative professions in their home region.

In particular, the discussion will focus on the operation of the State Tretyakov Gallery branch in Kaliningrad and the establishment of cultural, educational, and museum complexes in Vladivostok, Kemerovo, and Sevastopol.

On June 26–27, Vladimir Putin will visit Minsk to take part in the Eurasian Economic Union summit

On June 26, the President of Russia will speak at a plenary session of the Eurasian Economic Forum, which will be themed as "Strategy of Eurasian Economic Integration: Results and Prospects."

The next day, Vladimir Putin will take part in a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council. Several pressing issues pertaining to the EAEU will be discussed, including further liberalisation of single markets for goods and services, as well as expansion of transport corridors in Eurasia. In addition, the participants are to address the matter of developing the Union's international relations.

The President has approved a list of instructions following the May 13 meeting with members of Delovaya Rossiya National Public Organisation

I'd like to say that here in Minsk, we have a few hundred small, medium, and large-sized Russian enterprises, those who are directly involved in developing integration and economic ties with the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union. They understand firsthand how much this integration does for them and how much needs to be done to improve them even further.
